The Pennsylvania region, including neighboring states, continue to be a hot bed of UFO activity. Among recently filed reports:

Barnesville, Pennsylvania - 3/25/2009 - A Barnesville family reported witnessing an object in a stationary position, with four very bright lights. The lights began to spin in a circular motion. One light went out, and a third light started to flicker then went out as well. A next door neighbor also witnessed the event.

Norristown, Pennsylvania - 3/25/2009 - Witness saw what he described as two bright lights in the distance which appeared to be stationary, similar to two towers with bright lights on top. The lights were moving, but at a very slow speed. After about ten minutes the lights were directly over the witness, flying at a very low altitude and speed. The lights were blinking white and would change to blinking red and blue, and then a non-blinking white light appeared. At first there were two of these objects, then two more followed. At this point, the witness began to look around him when he looked to the east and noticed three more similar objects. All of the objects exhibited the same characteristics. Finally, there was a total of 10-12 of the objects and they generally flew in pairs, at close proximity to one another, and there was absolutely no sound detected as they flew directly overhead. The entire event lasted for one hour before all of the objects flew away.

Freeport, New York - 3/22/2009 - Witness reported seeing a bright flash followed by a tiny round ball moving across the sky. The witness indicated that this event was the most recent of frequent occurrences of this same anomaly. The witness has described previous observances including three triangular shaped objects that looked smooth.

Breaking news off the wire...

San Diego, California - 3/27/2009 - Two witnesses observed a very bright light suddenly appear in the sky. The brilliance and movement drew one witness' attention immediately. The light was so bright that the witness determined it wasn't an aircraft or helicopter. It was approximately twelve inches (relatively speaking) above the southern horizon. Its point of origin was approximately 175 degrees on the compass. It was travelling north, north east at a very high rate of speed. The witness described the object as a brillian oval-shaped light, and grew in size as it travelled north east. The object emitted no sound, and there wasn't any vapor trails. Approximately three minutes after the object disappeared, two F-18 fighter jets travelling from the north east came to the point where the object had disappeared. They circled the area once, then continued southwest. Approximately thirty seconds later, a third F-18 came from the same direction and circled the area where the object had been observed for approximately 3 minutes. The jet then proceeded heading southwest similar to the previous F-18's.

New Middleton, Indiana - 3/27/2009 - Witness was awakened at 5:30 a.m. feeling a tingling sensation. The witness looked out the bedroom window and noticed a red, flickering V-shaped object hovering over a next-door neighbor's yard. The whole object was flickering with red lights, and hovered in a stationary position. The witness went to get his binoculars, but when he returned he just caught a glimpse of the flickering lights before they disappeared behind some nearby buildings.
