sbc Yep, the handwriting is on the wall. It's the dumbest thing I've heard in a while.
Non -Americans are being actively recruited and encouraged to join the military by various means, e.g., giving them a fast-track to citizenship if they do so. It should be quite clear to anyone with a brain that these will have little or no compunction about shooting Americans when ordered to do so.

expat in chile Where to go? Uruguay, Chile, Ecuador, Argentina. There are nice and nasty people everywhere in every country. Maybe the percentages of psychopaths and sociopaths may differ by a few percentage points depending where and cultural differences will always be a cause of variability in one's comfort level and ability to adjust. I explained the basics from my biased POV on the four in a past reply saying I did not know a whole lot about Uruguay except it has boring landscape, good grass fed beef and less corruption than Argentina but more than Chile. I suppose crime has grown if you want to believe the recent US State Dept. advisory as it has in most countries on the continent due to revolving door justice systems. If you got the bucks, visit and stay in each for months at a time and decide which one personally is best.
I loved how you said that folks in the first were really friendly nice honest. (Or such.)

I WILL expect a welcoming parade in every city in my checkered Bermuda Shorts and globular and one half of my weight beer belly.
I am joking/sarcastiic. I learn languages fast but don't know spanish, so it will be tough to demand a parade, ya know?
I am the antithesis of what the world has sadly long learned about Idiot AmeriKants who think not only that the world loves them; but also that the host country should feel 'blessed' by their presence and somehow "owes" them something/anything.
I'm pround to say - and sad that I must say it - but I am about as atypically a kind and humbly proud of being a 'good guy' good soul /American as I've ever met, save some insane people, who were 'atypical PEOPLE.'
Comment: Amidst the bluster that is McAfee's "advice" is acknowledgment of one sad and horrible truth; there is a whole segment of the US population that - Trump or no Trump - sees what the advances in the police state and other tyrannical political changes are leading towards - and these Americans are preparing to fight it come what may.
