On one recent morning when his mother's car had trouble starting, Hunter arrived to school exactly one minute late and was reprimanded by administrators. Someone from Hunter's family stuck around, and were absolutely horrified by how he was isolated at lunch.
Hours later, Laura Hoover, the boy's grandmother, made a post to facebook showing a picture of her gandson's punishment. Her post said:
The post sparked national outrage and eventually the school was forced to respond and change their policy. The school then issued the following notice:This is my grandson, Hunter. He's a little first grader. His momma's car sometimes doesn't like to start right up. Sometimes he's a couple minutes late to school. Yesterday, he was 1 minute late and this is what his momma discovered they do to punish him! They have done this to him 6 times for something that is out of this baby's control! They make a mockery of him in front of the other students! The principal is responsible for this. His mom found him there, crying, and took him home for the day. Anyone want to help me flood this lady principal with calls telling her how inappropriate this is?
This is just another example of why state-run schools and government do not always know what is best for our children. Do you truly believe this school had Hunter's best interest in mind when they secluded him because his mother dropped him off one minute late? For the past twenty-four hours, there has been considerable general and social media attention regarding the Lincoln Elementary School Attendance/Tardy Catch-up Protocol. This afternoon, Principal Fitzsimmons was able to meet with both parents to discuss their concerns. We are pleased to report the meeting was productive. The parents' concerns were politely discussed and, ultimately, the issues were resolved to the satisfaction of both the parents and the school. All parties involved believe that an appropriate resolution has been reached and are anxious to move forward with their normal daily routines.

. . . but if not then by now you probably know that's something you do for yourself :-)
"Don't feed the trolls"
But of course that doesn't change the fact that the people in charge are retards.
Sitting alone is cool, but that cardboard is just ridiculous.
f*cked up . . . . nothing else does this justice
You can only hope more than Facebook came to this child's rescue...
There's a difference in being forced to be separate from the herd and choosing to be. Putting the screen up in front of this kid is just out and out cruel. I know too well what it feels like to be punished as a child for things other people did and all it does is create shame and blame, the very ingredients for psychopathy. Since many of the rticles on this website are related to psychopaths, every day I see more and more evidence that it is cruelty, indifference and blame/shame on children at a young age that causes psychopathy. The people in charge now grew up as impressionable kids too, and life mind f**ked them into being megalomaniacs or compartmentalisers, and then helped the rest of us be angry and disenfrnachised. All I see is that kids saying "why is this happening to me?" and experiencing the cognitive dissonance of being punished for trying to be good.
@glandu:
There is pretty good evidence, Ted Kaczynski was a government agent performing in conjunction with others, an extended psy-op.
Check Miles Mathis on this. Here, I'll look it up and link for you:

What I love is all the other kids, just sitting around, letting this happen.
Obviously, they're only 6 years old.
But they're learning!
15 more years and they'll have the compliant docility thing down pat.
Resistance is futile.
Safety is in the crowd, always the crowd.

See how the little boy accepted it? Had he not, no doubt they have a padded room for him, or maybe sedatives? Maybe shock therapy?
See how the other children were practising cognitive dissonance? They'd 'forgotten' about this little boy, just like the adults of this world 'forget' about everyone who's suffering.
"His momma's car sometimes doesn't like to start right up." Sounds to me like we also have a responsibility problem with his momma too. Maybe Momma needs to set her alarm just a few minutes early so she can have plenty of time for her car to decide to start and get him to school on time! Not saying the school system is unbroken, because it is broken; but here we have something else that's broken and that's Momma who can't seem to get him to school on time and somehow can't see that she's part of the problem! It's called denial - blame something else. She sees her child suffering and yet won't correct the core problem which is Momma and her propensity to be late. I get sick of these stories when we have children in Gaza and elsewhere dying in conflict.
The same applies in society regarding:
-Airports and airlines delay people, however people are punished or penalised if they cause any delay.
-Governments - guilty of multiple crimes, terrorism, genocide, fraud and treason. No punishment. A citizen who is late with a payment, or fails to please the system is punished.
-The tax departments run scams with the corporations. Mr Average makes a mistake on his tax forms, and is penalised and punished.
-Police are brutal, murderous and barbaric. No punishments are given. A citizen is deprived of any right to protect himself, and must submit to anything if the 'law' should want it.
-Banks - super criminals and warmongers. No punishment. In fact they own the entire system.
-Israel's been about 7 years late in ending the blockade. It's been about 7 decades late with returning stolen land. No punishment. No penalties. Palestinians though, are held to an impossible standard by the zionists/globalists in Israel.
One minute lateness is not an issue. It's not an issue at all. Not unless one supports the idea of a military dictatorship. In the time that the class waits for the outstanding student, they could interact with their teacher about other issues. Does this school come to a crashing halt if a student is absent? No.
Also, you have no knowledge of whether his mother is healthy, ill or has other problems in her life. School - as in mainstream schooling, is nothing to get excited or intrigued about. It's a production line and a brainwashing scheme. Why be upset that a child was one minute late for his brainwashing?
I lived in Oregon for about 20 years. I remember it as being liberal (relatively), kind-hearted, and generally caring.
I have to admit, it was less and less so the more years I was there, but still, I thought of it as a benchmark for a decent place to live.
Seeing this article brings home how far and wide the psychopathic influence has spread in the US.
Perhaps the most painful part is not that it happened, but that the town allowed it to happen and go on happening - blind to the sickness within their midst.
