Ok. It is presented as a completely natural occurrence, but then the title says that Oklahoma towns are overwhelmed by this cricket infestation. It was even called a plague. Oh, my! Therefore, it maybe, not so natural after all... the scope of it, I mean. If it was that normal, birds, lizards and other animals would eat them all, but that's not what we see, right? And it somewhat resembles "seventeen-year locust", osit.
And did someone asked the question: why in Oklahoma? And the smell of rotten meat...? Hmm? Maybe, something rotten, although not so apparent, occupies or/and periodically visits (meets someone at) this place?
