Judging by the response of Russia's Emergency Situations Ministry, maybe, these tracks were made of butter? These track are made of steel! 33 degrees Celsius (90 Fahrenheit) is not an usual temperature for the Sochi region in the summer. Blaming the accident on the summer heat it's much more convenient, than pointing out to the official negligence or (and) doing something about the horrible state of the Russian infrastructure, roads and train track, in particular.
And since when the Ministry makes a it's conclusions based on the words of locomotives' engineer? No investigation needed?
