Here's some help if you're ever lost or disoriented in the Northern Hemisphere.
#1. Find the Big Dipper, (Ursa Major - Great Bear; Homer called it The Big Wagon, I believe.)
#2 Find the last two stars in the ladle part (not the handle part.)
#3. Run an imaginary line from the star at the outside base of the ladle/dipper to the rim of the dipper. (Let's call that distance "Z")
#4. Continue on for five lengths (5 X Z)
#5. You have hit/landed on Polaris, the North star and now know which way is North. (Polaris is also the star the begins the little Dipper's handle.)
