LAURA KNIGHT-JADCZYK AND JOE QUINN
Since the 9/11 attacks, no book has provided a satisfactory answer as to WHY the attacks occurred and who was ultimately responsible for carrying them out - until now.
I "have" over my house, a 350 year old Sand Live Oak (quercus geminata), that covers my home (you can't see my house from google earth, etc.,) and he also covers the street in front of my home, half of the house next door and parts of the yards across the street. His spread is about 130 feet and his circumference over 20 feet. I've always felt safer and protected beneath him.
But to think that I "own" that tree, when it has witnessed so many people - from Seminoles, through white settlers, et al -come and go before me is absurd. That's the validity behind the Native American concept of "how can a man 'own' land?" when it is eternal, at least relative to man's mortality.

P.s., That's a big hint on my "handle" here.
