No kidding. So what else is new?

Usually the practice is for the govt's to spend during an economic downtrend to replace the lack of consumer and business spending, but that hasn't worked due to most of those funds being spent not on the economy, but on bad gambling debts the now reclassified 'banks' of WallStreet et al, have built up through the 'boom' years. They have received the lions share of the 'bailout' funds to keep the market going, only their market doesn't help Main Street much, it just slows the inevitable decline down to the next flight of stairs. Trillions and trillions have been spent to keep us on the landing between these flights of stairs, but the edge is approaching and the slide is getting slippery due to all the years of lying that have greased the floor beneath our feet. Not easy to get your footing in such a situation, but then the NWO script has the 'rug pulling' moment approaching so 'austerity' seems built into the design of our political puppet show and destined to arrive in some form rather soon.
