James McCanney occasionally talks about windmills. As I understand it, he feels strongly that the 3 blade design that is the "standard" is not sufficient to the task, being poorly designed and engineered.
Apparently there are other, more functional alternatives but you don't hear much about them - I wonder why that would be?
