Realize that the "mental health" community has been using proclamations and predictions of this type for years to bully governments into giving them funding. They very much want to keep up the illusion that they are the experts, that the problems are vast and of a "medical" nature, and that with adequate funding they can come up with a "medical" handling.
I think this is a farce. There is considerable evidence that "mental health" problems are spiritually based, as are many other conditions. You'd think that if the medical organizations really had our best interests in mind, they would at least give this research some lip service. Or are their vested interests really in making everyone feel like they need "medical" treatment on a continuing basis, from cradle to grave?
