Military personnel reported a UFO to a Missouri Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) field investigator regarding a March 1 incident over government property.

The investigator reports that the story originated in the Kansas City, Kansas, and Kansas City, Missouri area. Fort Levenworth is nearby and just north of these two cities in Kansas.

The military personnel reported seeing a ball-shaped object at 10:30 p.m. Some of the witnesses stated that the object was 3,000 feet up, others said 200 feet. The silent object was described as a glowing gold color, slow moving, traveling only about 20 mph.

The military witnesses said that they feared being identified as they made their report.

In Elwood, Indiana on March 15, a witness reported observing 3 to 5 lights and one bright strobing light that appeared to be part of a large object, about two to three times the length of a bus. MUFON Indiana Chief Investigator Stewart Hill said the case is an "unknown."

A Pennsylvania witness in Barnesville, on March 25, saw four bright, revolving lights in a stationary position. The lights then began spinning in a circular motion. The witness pointed out that the area is over a state park with a large lake, and is wooded and very quiet.

An Ohio woman watched "unusual lights" in the sky March 28 at 3 a.m. She said the lights were rotating on a horizontal axis and were red and green. They were similar to chaser lights, she said, and blinking about 120 times per minute. While the disc-shaped object appeared to be hovering just above I-75, it then slowly descended behind some hills.

Briefly: Pennsylvania MUFON State Director John Ventre is working with a retired source from the National Security Agency (NSA) to try and solve some cold case UFO abduction cases in Pennsylvania. "One in particular was ruled a homicide," Ventre said Saturday night. "The source obviously must remain confidential, but wants the truth to come out. There were a number of abductions that resulted in severe dehydration, ematiation and mummification."

Please remember that these cases may be under investigation by MUFON. Many cases can be resolved as something natural or man made. As MUFON investigators provide updates to these cases, I will report back on those details.

Missouri, March 1, 2009 - around object about the size of a house 3,000 feet in sky

On around about 22:30 hours=10:30PM a sighting over U.S.Government property or secure government areas in western Missouri and Kansas greater Kansas City areas U.S.Military personnel had a strange Phenomenon sighting a ball shaped object in the skies area Military area and this was reported to me.

Also this object was moving slowly about 20 mph and it was glowing gold color this object was about the size of a car or a compact car others stated and other personnel stated it was a car and gave no size. Because out of fear going to prison some military personnel want to stay(Anonymous) because of the $20,000.00 fine or 15 years in prison or both.

ALSO MADE NO-SOUND--------------------

Indiana, March 15, 2009 - It appeared to be very large (two to three times the length of a bus) and low flying.

I put my work uniforms in the trunk of my car on friday and I needed a uniform for work in the morning so I went to my car to get one. I was walking back into my house when I noticed the strobing lights. I wouldn't have noticed it if it wasn't for the number of lights and their relative brightness to anything else I usually see in the sky.

I first thought that it might be a helicopter because I live three blocks from a hospital with a helipad and because it seemed to be fairly still in the sky. I watched for a minute or so listening for the sound of the helicopter (it's is very obvious when one flies over because it is loud). There wasn't even the faint sound of a plane - that I could tell.

It started to move away to the south-by-southeast. It was maybe three times the height of an oak tree over the tree line. It seemed to elevate slightly as it went away. I lost sight of it when it went behind the tree line. I can't say for certain that it was anything unusual, just something I can't explain.

Their were maybe 3 - 5 lights that were mirrored along two lines that were angled up to a point where there was one bright slow strobing light ( the angle was probably 5 degrees. The one bright light at the meeting point of the lights that caught my eye was a whitish light. The ones going slightly down and away were yellowish (fast strobing) and the ones on the ends were deep red (not strobing).

The lights never seemed to changes position relative to one another: so, I thought it might be one fixed object. I was completely sober and awake when I witnessed the lights. I didn't tell my wife until three days ago - I thought she'd think I lost my mind, she was actually a little disappointed that I didn't come get her, I told her I didn't want to miss anything. I don't want to be contacted and I'd like to remain anonymous.

Thank you. You can email me if you need any other information - although I think I've given you everything I have. If I could pinpoint it's exact location when I first saw the lights it would be at South "B" street and 11th Street.

The photo is from exactly where I was standing. Although it was actually in the evening and I opened the photo with paint so I could give a rendering of where the lights were and the relative size. I didn't see an object, only lights. The picture isn't depicting an actual event of any sort it is for reference only.

Pennsylvania, March 25, 2009 - Four bright revolving lights in the sky remained stationary and then "blinked" out.

"My wife and daughter were yelling that I need to go out and see this. I had just got in bed. I ran outside and was so amazed by what I saw I came back in the house, got dressed, and went out on the back deck.

There were four (4) very bright lights in a stationary position. They started to spin in a circular motion. One light went out, a third started to flicker and went out.

I called the next-door neighbor to make sure someone else from another household saw what we were seeing. The neighbor saw the two (2) lights and then they both went out. I'm not really a believer of this stuff, but this really freaked me out.

The area it was in is a state park with a large lake; very woody and quiet. The other freaky thing is...we could see the lights and the motion of the lights but we took pictures and you could see the lights when I took the picture but nothing is on the memory stick. Same with the video camera. We could see the lights through the camera but the video is black."

Ohio, March 28, 2009 - I witnessed what appeared to be a disc shaped craft with lights rotating around the perimeter

At around 3am I happened to look out my second story window and saw unusual lights in the sky to the east of my location. At first I thought it was a microwave tower that stands about a mile away, but then I noticed that the light on the tower was to the right of the lights I was seeing. The tower light is white and blinks around 40 times per minute. The lights I saw seemed to be rotating around on a horizontal axis and were red and green in color. They were similar to 'chaser lights' and were blinking at about 120 times per minute. At first I believed that the lighted object was hovering just above I-75 which runs north and south about a mile away. However, as I watched, the object slowly descended behind the hills some distance past the interstate. I did not see the object again. Moments later, a small plane passed overhead from west to east over my home and in the direction of where I had seen the object. I then watched the plane until it passed out of sight and saw nothing more.

Later in the day, I was able to eliminate other factors. The light from the microwave tower is clearly farther south than the lights I saw and it has only one white light. From the back of my home it is possible to sometimes see headlights on the Interstate, but the object I saw was clearly high in the sky. This was not an airplane. This object hovered for a minute or more before descending. As best as I can tell, the object made no sound as I had my window open and could clearly hear cars on the highway but nothing else.

I don't mind saying that this has me a bit rattled. I know people who have seen unidentified objects and I do believe they exist, but this was the first time I have witnessed one myself. I considered reporting this to the local authorities, but decided to wait and see if there were any other reports that made the papers or local news. Having seen and heard nothing, my boyfriend suggested MUFON as he is familiar with the group and believes that my report will be taken seriously. Thank you.
