Constant Curvature?
If so, it could describe the arc of a parabola (sp.) which can seem erratic to an observer depending upon their location.
However, it seems as if, at the last minute, before it disappears behind the "mountain," that it lilts back up a bit. However, I can't tell from my terrible system. If it changes directions (vectors off, somehow), then that would mean a lot more.
Also, I could not see the time frames involved. They would reveal much. (At least in our 3rd/4th dimension existence, heh, heh.)
