Could it be, that agri-giants like Monsanto, in their innate preference to please and protect the public are purposely designing these seeds to wash off into the waterways as a bug-repellant? Of course, with the dry spell this year, the West Nile Virus isn't mentioned much, but it's still nice to know our agri-giants have done their civic duty to help us in our time of need. Free bug spray that gets coated on the skin with just a little dip in the river, and if you drink some, no doubt the protection goes in with you. How wonderful is that!
As for that 'glyphosate', no doubt it too has hidden benefits for the consumer.
