The psychopaths : Game theory and market democracy

How game theory developed by John Nash (Nobel prize for economics, 1994) was used first to run the economy, and then to justify conservative politics.

Considering the widespread acceptance of the market based social ideals, and the underlying game theory behind these ideals, the simple question begs to be asked: "So... Is that all there is?"

AH I get it now, cold hard economics is the economics of psychopaths... The assumptions they make like individuals will always seek to maximize there own self-interest applies absolutely to pathological individuals, including psychos and less so to normal people. Actually at the base of nearly all economic theories lie certain assumptions about behavior, motivations etc etc and it is plausible that the foundations(the assumptions) are psychopathic by there very nature and thus everything else that comes from that will have psychopathy heavily embedded into it.. If we take the results of what Economics has given the world, then it doesn't become a matter of, the science is wrong or not perfect or behavior is hard to model, it becomes a matter of, the world that comes forth only suits a specific group of people and the majority have to adopt accordingly to survive within the models and systems patterned against this science.. I have always thought throughout my economics degree, that economics is essentially a psychos justification. A tool they use as a means to justify there actions.

It is funny if whenever you hear the word market democracy substitute it for psychopathic democracy.. When they say Game substitute it for "How a psycho conceptualizes the world." Actually it is very interesting if whilst listening to the whole clip you try and not take the words at face value like politics, markets, democracy, freedom etc and instead see them(the words) as vehicles by which psychopathy can infiltrate a system

That's exactly it.

And this disastrous snowball got rolling because the deviants got the ear of the politicians. Classic psychopathic tactics to reshape the world to one they are comfortable in. The book Political Ponerology (www.ponerology.com) discusses this in terms of social structures, but what is economics but part of the social structure?

Possible examples of psychopaths.

For examples of these types of people and their ability to hide among us I suggest looking into Russel Williams, the high ranking Canadian military officer and serial rapist and killer. And for a possible less extreme example I suggest watching this season of the Bachelor and dissecting the behaviour and staements of Courtney. To my eyes her lack of empathy and concern only for how her actions may hurt her, as well as the specific language usage suggests a high functioning psychopathy. This is only speculation however.
