The perfect mouthpiece for the most serious disinformation.
I wonder if Reuters realizes that it has totally undermined its credibility as a news organization by agreeing to publish trash like this.
If it were my birthday, and a Reuters item came out saying it was my birthday, I wouldn't believe it.
Wow, and the FBI or local authorities could only figure out how to prosecute 18 of the 100,000 "dangerous" people involved in this movement. I'm not even sure I believe that the FBI actually said anything this nonsensical. I wish the FBI would investigate Reuters! It might help preserve my small sliver of hope that they are still interested in exposing real criminals.
. . . some of the facts are that you really can "burn your straw man" and doing so puts one in a rather interesting position. I know a couple of "sovereigns" and they're pretty much straight ahead people who've simply had enough of being lied to, found out some of the many things to do, and did them. It's an old and deeply entrenched con they're ditching and one must move carefully and with some guidance . . .
Unlike in the Excited States of You-Know-Where we're not running around with guns up here, sticking a barrel up everyone's nose . . .
I do wish all these people with guns would start referring to themselves as states like all the other third world countries, just in principle, it would make the place much more respectable.
"you're next, sovereigns!"
To the FBI's bankroll, nicely funded and legitimized with the money collected from the IRS tax collectors. Too bad neither organization, nor anything Federal, is operating legitimately under any constitutional authority. And since that is the only document any American has to fall back on, and since it has been usurped by 80 million Federal statutes and codes, not to mention innumerable agencies and 'czars' among other appointed bureaucratic nincompoops, it's safe to reason that not only are IRS and FBI fraudulent in their presumption of authority, so too is the entire Federal government and the entire Federal banking system.
The greatest thing they have on their side is an unlimited advertising budget and all the weapons in the world to scare incompetent invalids with. When it comes right down to it, incompetent invalids make up 100% of the 98%. Which is why the 1% can call down their dogs (who, coincidentally are a firm and standing subset of the 98%) to detain, assault, torture, murder and (new!) 'disappear' anyone that even remotely threatens their racketeering schemes.
At the same time, the bleary eyed crowd looks on and each hopes they have their papers in order.
I wonder if they know the definition of sovereign... I mean last I checked most politicians and celebrities owe tax money, or have off-shore accounts. This is all an excuse to have the right to interrupt a peaceful protest but label the citizens as terrorist or so called "sovereign citizens"
"These extremists, sometimes known as 'sovereign citizens,' believe they can live outside any type of government authority"
Well obviously they can't if the FBI goes after them.
