blah blah blah
Im not sure whether God exists (much) in this reality, interacting with us pathetic and stupid human beings. But it seems that mob rule exists. And why should God run around 'preventing' anything bad happening in the world, like that was God's only function? Human beings think they know the unknowable?
Apparently many of them think they do.
Use the term think lightly in this context.
What an odd reason to arrest an individual. If he wrote "God does exist" then everything would be grand and the community would function normally and systematically, under their faith of course. He was asking each of us to weigh and consider therefore, a debate was at hand...but shut down by authority. Who pays for this mans detention? Facebook is a dangerous place and a very religious monitored arena. I have a felling that most, if not all social sites are monitored by religious institutions and their pawns...I mean virtual friends. Behave yourself.
If there is a god it looks more like Loki than that old man with the beard and blinding face. A snicker on its face and twinkle in it's eyes. I bet it checks its watch often. Probably wondering. 'It's been over 200,000years for cripes sake. When are these idiots going to figure it out?'
If God really exists and has absolute power, why would a state need to lock people up who are thinking otherwise? This is a paradox, because people would not be able to deny God's existence if this goes against God's will. The fact that we can, and have the free will to do so, makes the whole argument invalid. Therefore, it is not the will of God that is at play here, but the will of an entity or group of entities that do *not* have absolute power, who act through the state, to try to convince us that they do...
