I truly think it works the other way round: the less you value your stuff and the more secure you feel...also I will beg to differ on the premise about love and acceptance...if you love yourself in the first place and consequently others(how can you love others if you don't love yourself?) if you accept yourself(which does mean you do nothing to become a better person, on the contrary) then again you are safe. Anyway scientists make me laugh they seem to discover things that Ancient Wisdom has known for millenia!
