With 1879 being the coldest opening week on CET record, this week has been the second coldest opening week to December since CET records began in 1659.
Those records are for a one-week period.
When you look at the two-week period, says Bastardi, the last week of November and the first week of December, it's the coldest since CET records began in 1659.
This puts central England back to the temperatures of the Little Ice Age.
And there's more to come, Bastardi warns.
"Preparation for renewal of extreme cold from France to Scandinavia and west through the UK should be made."

So whats big bad gore got to say about global warming now?The whole thing is a contrivied way to obtain more control over us.Maybe its time they let this dog die.When I was in school many years ago the big thing in the science books was we was due for an ice age maybe it is starting,that was before all the stupid govt control came into play.Back when you could believe in what the scientists had to say.The scientists today are like the govt they are only after more funding.And the govt is after more funding at any expense.Even if it means lying to the people to get every dollar they have.So you cant trust the govt,you cant trust scientists any more.Is it too hard to just tell the truth in todays world?If everyboy wasnt so worried about get our money they would prolly be a little more apt to tell the truth,but the way it stands now hell no.Even the god people will lie and steal and cheat you before a non god person will.So a person has to just got to learn to expect that everyone is going to lie or steal or cheat you.A sad sad day in the world.Maybe it is time for the world to come to an end.
