Date of Sighting: 7th March 2010
Time: 12.10pm

Witness Statement: I was in my back garden with my son who is 40 years old. I was watching an aircraft fly over when I saw a small disc shaped object travel across the sky at high speed. I pointed it out to my son who saw it immediately. We both watched traverse the sky from the south east towards the north west in a dead straight line at speed until it suddenly disappeared. I went into the house to tell my wife when my son shouted that there was another one. I didn't see the second one but my son described it as either larger or lower. It came from a more easterly direction but flew to the same point in the sky where it also suddenly disappeared.

These were traveling at three to four times the speed of the big jets flying over at the time and were dark underneath and circular. They were too high to see any detail but my son said the second one appeared to have a darker ring round the circumference. I am an avid plane spotter but I have never seen anything like this. It was not a balloon or anything similar and I have no explanation as to what these objects were.
