Location of Sighting: East Vancouver, British Columbia

Description: Listen to Witness Report (MP3)

One of the witnesses called a few minutes after the sighting and left a voice message with his report. He stated that he and his friend were outside viewing the sky after work and noticed several objects moving westward through breaks in the clouds. He seemed certain that the lights were not normal aircraft. He estimated that 20 to 30 of these objects were in the sky.

Subsequent Interview With Primary Witness: I felt that that the witnesses observed stars that appeared to be moving due to an optical illusion created by movement of the clouds. However, the witness said that the objects were moving relative to stars in the background. He seemed quite certain of this fact.

Note: The witness reporting the sighting provided good reason why the objects were not stars and were in motion. Given this uncertainty I have no explanation for the sighting. The witness said that he "had a beer after work." However, he sounded lucid in his recorded report. He seemed credible in a conversation that I had with him two days after his initial report.
