Three people were killed in a plane crash that happened in central Canada over the weekend, reports reaching here said on Monday.
The wreckage of the plane was found on Sunday evening in a remote area near the city of Dryden in northwestern Ontario province by rescuers from a nearby Canadian forces base.
The crashed plane was a charter plane from the local Lockhart Air Service which left Sioux Lookout for Cat Lake, both located in northwestern Ontario.
The plane was reported overdue late that evening and a search was launched.
There has been no word yet on the identities of the victims.
