Reports of yet more mysterious objects in the night sky have landed on the Journal's newsdesk since a bizarre UFO sighting last week.

The reported appearance of a cube-shaped ship with orange flares in Muswell Hill on Wednesday, May 20, sparked more spaceship spotters to come forward with their unexplained finds.

Chris Penny, of Colney Hatch Lane, said he saw something which looked like "an airplane on fire" with four flashing lights flitting in the sky above Muswell Hill Road for about five minutes. He said: "It was probably several hundred feet above me and moving very slowly. I thought it must have been someone messing around with a balloon.

"It looks like it was a UFO but I don't think it is. I think somebody out there is just having some fun but it was extremely unusual."

The incident happened last Thursday when he was walking down the road towards Highgate at about 12.10am.

It follows another sighting in Muswell Hill - now dubbed "Roswell Hill" after the American town in the USA where UFO fans say a saucer crashed in 1947 - at about 9.15pm last Monday.

Sujesh Sundarraj said he saw a colourless object floating in the sky which drew the attention from other people waiting at the same bus stop near Muswell Hill. He said: "Its presence couldn't be ignored. The object in the sky was static. I am not sure how many things are static in the sky. The research team might have more answers to this.
