A fresh Israeli air strike has killed two Palestinians in the Gaza strip town of Beit Hanoun, Palestinian medical sources say.

The latest Israeli attack against the Gaza residents comes as the Gaza fighters and Israelis are under an Egypt-brokered cease fire.

Despite the Israelis' claims that it has remained committed to the truce deal, during the past two weeks Israeli army carried out several military operations in the coastal area, killing and wounding several Palestinians.

In response to the Israeli attacks the Palestinian fighters fired home made rockets to the territories occupied by Israel.

The deal came into effect on June 19, under which Israel promised to stop attacks on Gaza and alleviate the siege in exchange for an end to retaliatory homemade rocket attacks. The six-month truce is due to come to an end on December 19.
