A disaster-dodging New Hampshire miracle baby survived a tornado in July and a wild accident this week after the family car's breaks went out.

Police said the minivan careened through traffic and crashed into a supermarket's electical transformer early Thursday morning due to mechanical failure.

"They were fortunate," said Yankee Food Market owner Tom Jacobs, whose newly constructed Raymond, N.H., store sustained substantial damage in the accident.

Police said Lindsey Dinneen, 24, lost control of her vehicle and the minivan plowed into the building with her two children and family dog all inside.

"They just got their brakes fixed and from what I heard forgot to put fluid in them," Jacobs said. "She had trouble coming down the hill and crossed a car and a truck, which missed them by inches. It could have been a lot worse."

Video of the crash shows the driver walking away from the accident with her children in her arms. The family and the dog were not injured.

After a devastating tornado ripped through New Hampshire in July, one of the mom's infants, John Paul Stevens, was found in the rubble of his grandparents' Deerfield home. Brenda Stevensdied blanketing her grandchild from the tornado's path of destruction, authorities said.

A relative of Dinneen declined an interview but confirmed the mother's relief of surviving the crash.
