German airline Condor says one of its flights with 265 people on board made an unscheduled landing in Kenya following a fuel leak.
Condor spokeswoman Nina Kreke says the crew noticed unusual vibrations after the Boeing 767-300 took off from Mauritius today en route to Frankfurt.
She says fluid was then found to have leaked from one of the wings. Officials later determined that it was fuel.
Kreke says the pilot decided to turn off the engine on that side of the plane and land in Mombasa. She says the passengers and the aircraft were not in danger at any point.
The people on board were taken to hotels. The airline was sending a replacement plane to fly them back to Germany.
