MIAMI ― Police say a South Florida man who died after being zapped with a Taser was not killed due to complications following the shock.
Early Friday morning, Miami-Dade Police Officers were called to a South Dade neighborhood morning where a man was banging on the front door of a house at 10730 Southwest 146th Terrace. 45-year-old Kenneth Oliver resisted when police attempted to arrest him. When Oliver resisted, an officer used a Taser in an attempt to control him.
After deciding he had an apparent medical issue, the decision was made to have him committed for observation. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue officials were going to take Oliver to a treatment facility when he experienced a medical emergency. He was rushed to Jackson Memorial Hospital, where he died.
According to Miami-Dade Police officers, Oliver suffered minor scrapes on his knees, left wrist and lower back. The county Medical Examiner does not believe they contributed to the man's death. However, he had symptoms of possible Delirium or Cocaine Psychosis.
The Miami-Dade County Medical Examiner is awaiting the result of more in-depth toxicology tests before they determine the exact cause of death.

They electrocuted him and then he suddenly dies, like it's his "time" or something?
Get Real! They "legally" murdered him! Now they're trying to cover it by saying he had some cocaine disease when the only "crime" he committed was banging on someone's door. They always concoct some kind of justification when excessive force is illegally used against someone by the cops.
But it's still murder and where are the citizens gathering at the police station to scream, "Murderers!!!!!!" ???????
