QUOTE OF THE DAY
I wouldn't call it fascism exactly, but [an American] political system nominally controlled by an irresponsible, dumbed down electorate who are manipulated by dishonest, cynical, controlled mass media that dispense the propaganda of a corrupt political establishment can hardly be described as democracy either.

President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad here on Saturday called for all-out cooperation among world independent states to prevent plunder of their natural resources by bullying powers. In a meeting with Ghana's Accredited Ambassador to Tehran, Rashed Baba, he voiced Tehran's readiness to boost bilateral cooperation with all independent states, including Ghana. Referring to Iran and Ghana as two friendly countries, Ahmadinejad reiterated that the two nations have always been the messenger of peace and friendship. Tehran is interested in expanding ties with the African state of Ghana in all areas, the Iranian president said after he received credentials of Baba. For his part, the Ghanaian envoy lauded Iran's support for all African states, including his country. He also called for exchange of experiences in different areas with the Islamic Republic of Iran.
