The case against 26-year veteran Mike Polk was forwarded to the Phoenix Police Department by Immigration and Customs Enforcement or ICE.
ICE confirms its special agents made the discovery while working their Operation Predator program.

If Polk's name sounds familiar, it might be because he has appeared on the A&E show "The First 48," a show documenting how detectives solve cases across the country.
No one was at Polk's Surprise home when ABC15 tried to reach the family for comment.
His neighbors describe him as a great guy and friendly neighbor. They all hope that the charges are not true, that this is all a big misunderstanding.
Edward Arias lives two doors down from Polk. He said if Polk is found guilty it proves you never know who is a predator, even those who take an oath to protect and serve.
"If you can't trust an officer who can you trust", said Arias.
