The crew of another Polish Centralwings no frills aircraft has reported technical problems during a landing in Dublin, Ireland.

During touchdown in Dublin, last night, the pilots of a passenger plane Boeing 737 noticed a problem with the landing gear indicator. The captain decided not to take any risks and repeated approach to the runway a few times to have the landing gear inspected by ground services.

After successful touchdown, the faulty indicator had to be replaced at Dublin airport, causing a few hours' delay of the flight back to Warsaw. Centralwings press officer Kamil Wnuk has confirmed that the captain of the Boeing 737 had to seek technical assistance to have a faulty relay repaired by mechanics at Dublin Airport, the Radio Information Agency (IAR) reports.

This is the second technical problem with the landing gear on a Centralwings service within one week.

Last Thursday, a Boeing 737 from the same airline faced a similar problem shortly after takeoff from Warsaw Airport. The aircraft had to make an emergency landing. One passenger sprained an ankle during evacuation procedure.

Last month Centralwings announced cuts to its services due to financial difficulties. In 2007, the company, owned by national carrier LOT airlines, reported a loss of 73 million zloty.
