Reading the news lately, there certainly appears to be an unusual amount of activity in many different spheres of power and influence. The Principle players seem to be moving in unison and orchestrating events in rapid succession, as if following a schedule.

They may think they're doing it slowly enough that no one will notice (knowing the lead time they have) - and they're almost correct - most people don't notice - but then there are those who do notice... those keeping the sott.net lighthouse lit.

So, it seems that, at this present moment, it has become necessary to try to block the lighthouse beam with internet search engine suppression and myriad other tricks such as silly lawsuits - good thing that light is rather like water in that it will always find a way out of enclosed places - the smallest hairline crack is all that's needed; and once it's out, you can't get it back in.

Let's see what light filters through the cracks once we begin to connect some interesting recent dots...

First it was Kosovo's declaration of independence backed-up by US support and formal recognition (February 18, 2008) despite clear warnings that it will cause further damage to international law, create a serious negative precedent and destabilize the Balkan region. But then again, it is a well-known tactic of the elites to use conflicts as a distraction from other underlying processes. And what might those processes be, apart from keeping the moribund stock market on a temporary life support?

It seems that in the Pathocratic chess game only the pawns are shedding tears and blood, while the kings and queens and their loyal bishops, knights and rooks are busy with preparations for the next stage of the game. And apparently, time is running short! Let's see if we can track some of their movements during the last month.

Cheney Makes Mystery Visit to Dallas
"Vice President Dick Cheney was visiting Dallas on Monday for undisclosed reasons."
Cheney visits Midland to boost Cornyn's race
"Cheney had appeared in Dallas on Monday and stopped at Robert Gray Army Airfield at Fort Hood in Killeen to address troops Tuesday morning. A number of Air Force and Army personnel accompanied him on Air Force Two and awaited his return."
But something else, no less intriguing, was occupying the attention of at least the Western part of the world population.

Norwegian seed bank opens
Oslo - A seed bank has been officially opened on the Norwegian island of Spitsbergen. The Svalbard Global Seed Vault, an initiative of the Norwegian government and the Global Crop Diversity Trust, has been built in an artificial cave carved out of the polar ice.

It is designed to store the seeds of one million agricultural plants so that, in the event of a disaster, the world can fall back on the stored genetic material. This will help maintain the world's biodiversity and guarantee global food supplies. The seed bank can hold up to four and a half million specimens.

Then, as if on cue for the next move, the 'USS Cole' (the same ship that was used in a fake Al-Qaeda terror attack back in 2000) was sent to the Lebanese coast, while an Israeli minister warned of a coming Palestinian 'holocaust'.

And Israel delivered as promised. For three days the beloved sons of Yahweh poured a rain of fire, death and destruction on the rightful owners of the land of Palestine.

March 4-5, 2008
Interestingly enough, after the mourning tents were spread across the Gaza Strip, and the Palestinians were left to lick their wounds till the next round of the 'holocaust', the USS Cole was relieved and replaced off Lebanon by two US warships.

Strange maneuvers indeed! But this was only the beginning.

Eight dead as gunmen hit Jerusalem religious school

Another fake terror attack which no organization was willing to take responsibility for, and carried out by a previously unknown group. Mossad - business as usual; what a busy group they are.

Curiously, on the same day oil prices hit a record high; near 106 dollars, accompanied by a strange New York explosion.
A small explosion struck a military recruiting station in New York's Times Square in the early hours of Thursday, causing minor damage and disruption but no injuries, police said.

"The spike (in prices) may have been a bullish, knee-jerk reaction to that (news)," said Societe Generale analyst Mike Wittner.

The blast occurred shortly before 0900 GMT and shattered windows and buckled the door of the small booth, a frequent focus of anti-war demonstrations and one of the most public faces of the US military.

Police said only that the explosion was the result of an improvised explosive device, while local reports quoted a witness as saying a passer-by had thrown an explosive device. Police would not confirm the account.
But let's go back to the "pond hopping" and see if anything interesting or significant emerges.

Chinese president meets former U.S. President Bush in Beijing
Calling U.S.-China relations one of the world's most important bilateral ties, Bush said that he was happy with the development of the progress of bilateral relations and expressed confidence that there would be even closer ties with China.

As the honorary president of the U.S. delegation for the Olympic Games, Bush said he expected to be back in China in August to watch the Games.

Calling the Olympics a world sports festival, Bush said that he opposed politicizing the event and expected a complete success for the Games.
We wonder if Poppy Bush is up to something? Meanwhile...

German chancellor arrives in Moscow to meet with Putin, Medvedev
Merkel, the leader of Russia's largest European trading partner, will hold talks with outgoing Russian President Vladimir Putin and his successor Dmitry Medvedev, who won just over 70% of the vote in last Sunday's presidential elections. Medvedev is to be inaugurated as Russia's new president on May 7.

Merkel is to discuss the Nord Stream pipeline project and international issues such as Kosovo and Iran during her visit, a Kremlin source said Friday

Israel's Peres welcomed to France, warned on settlements
Peres is the first foreign leader to be treated to a state visit by Sarkozy, who is seen as friendlier towards Israel than his predecessor Jacques Chirac and has moved toward closer relations with the United States, Israel's strongest ally.

The Israeli president, who will spend five days in France, called France, "a true friend of the Jewish people, since the Holocaust, and an honest and true friend of the state of Israel since its creation."
And just when everyone is busy monitoring the vitals of the stock market, another doomsday ark project is revealed, this time on the Moon.
Plans are being made for the first experiments to pave the way for a "doomsday ark" on the moon.

The ark would contain DNA, embryos and all the essentials of life and civilisation, to be activated should Earth be devastated by a giant asteroid, a climate flip or nuclear holocaust.
Opening of a Global Seed Vault (and its local "sisters"), and now an announcement that plans are made to open something even more ambitious on the Moon? Seems that these guys are serious!

Coincidently, March is pretty rich with meteorite related insights and discoveries covered by the mainstream media. This is just a sample:

Astronomers searching for meteorite that crashed in Ontario
Peru meteorite may rewrite rules
Antarctic meteorite points to smashed dwarf planet

But, back to observing what appears to be the main and deadly underlying current. Remember USS Cole? It's back in action, just a day before the beginning of another conflict, this time in Tibet.

USS Cole back in action: Fleet near Lebanon in warning to Syria
The U.S. Navy has sent at least three ships to patrol the coast of Lebanon as well as monitor neighboring Israel and Syria.

Officials said the force, which includes the USS Cole on its first mission since nearly being sunk by an Al Qaida attack in 2000, was intended to deter Syria or Hizbullah from toppling the government of Lebanese Prime Minister Fuad Siniora.

"It isn't meant to send any stronger signals than that," Adm. Michael Mullen, chairman of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff, said. "But it does signal that we're engaged, we're going to be in the vicinity, and that's a very, very important part of the world."
And then, as if that isn't enough strange coming and going...

Rice visits Brazil and Chile but leaves out Argentina
United States Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice arrived in Brazil on Thursday for a two-day visit to South America which also includes Chile but leaves out Argentina in spite of the fact President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner in her inaugural December speech promised to improve relations with Washington.

US secretary of state arrives in Chile
Rice, who was arriving from Brazil, told reporters traveling with her that the United States and Chile had "very solid relations" and growing economic ties thanks to a free trade treaty signed several years ago.

Putin, Medvedev to meet top U.S. officials over security issues
"A meeting between Vladimir Putin, Dmitry Medvedev, Condoleezza Rice and Robert Gates will take place in the Kremlin today," the official said.

Gates was quoted by foreign agencies as saying en route to Moscow that the United States will offer no new proposals in Moscow and wants the Kremlin to make the next move.
The tightly scheduled "diplomatic discussions" frenzy then reaches its peak at the main convergence point ("a very, very important part of the world"):

March 17-21, 2008
Foreign envoys to press Israel on peace process
"A busy and stressful week packed with visits by foreign diplomats
awaits Prime Minister Ehud Olmert. The different envoys will try and
exert pressure on Israel to uphold understandings reached at the
Annapolis peace conference and refrain from engaging in an armed
conflict in the Gaza Strip.

During the week Olmert is scheduled to host German Chancellor Angela Merkel as well as eight German ministers, Republican presidential candidate John McCain and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.

US Vice President Dick Cheney will land in Israel next Saturday. Britain's Foreign Secretary David Miliband may also visit the country, if his schedule permits."
So, looking through the last month's events, following the world leaders, who leave an undeniable trail with the blood dripping from their hands, we are compelled to ask the only question that comes to mind: "What's up?"

Is it possible that with the economy in meltdown, with the masses in the US and elsewhere in the world getting more than a little hostile toward their respective governments, they are coordinating something really big to lock us down, which will cancel the US elections and move things into proper 'position' for what they are all expecting but not speaking about?

It seems that we are quickly approaching "a point of no return", and there are a variety of distractions to keep us occupied and blind. If, however, you are reading this, you are among those who who are not so blind nor so preoccupied to be oblivious to the fact that 'something is up'. And, we need your help to keep this lighthouse lit for the sake of those who are still seeking, out there in the darkness, where the filtered and partially blocked light has yet to reach.
