The sensationalistic headline " Doctors claim to have documented first case of death from marijuana overdose after 11-month old boy dies " is very misleading. Myocardiits was the proximal cause of the child's death. Exposure to marijuana, while certainly not healthful, may or may not have been a causal factor of the myocarditis.
These doctor cranks are just playing for air time. They say there was no evidence of bacterial or viral infection but don't produce a speck of evidence to support that. They posit toxicity with no evidence of standards. They made no other investigations at all. They just jumped to their confusions, A fine case of coming to conclusions and then retrospectively interpreting the 'evidence' to suit their bias.
Typical of establishment medicine.
Poor kid.
However, I side with you, it would seem the child had exposure to a strong tincture. I cannot see an 11 month old child consuming enough MJ to kill them.
I'm skeptical the weed killed him - if he's living in a motel with druggie parent(s) then you can bet your boots there's a wheelbarrow full of other threats to his health, including mental and emotional stress.
Yeah, the poor kid didn't have much of a chance with parent(s) like that.
If you look at it closely you will see the lies.
