but more often than not, they don't. It's hard to tell someone that their beloved animal could be a potential killer. Nobody thinks it can happen to them, and what a shame when it does as it could have been prevented. More action needs to be taken on those promoting these unstable dogs as loving family dogs, even "nannies." Unfortunately, they are until they snap and that unannounced "snap" is part of their DNA. These crazy pit bull advocacy groups promoting these dogs as great family dogs aren't in touch with reality. Every person in the adoption process of these pit bulls that flip out and injure or kill should be prosecuted severely. The only way they are going to understand the severity of their uneducated decisions is to let them sit in jail and reflect on it for a while.
