Five people died and seven more got wounded over a week as a result of shellings of the territory of the Donetsk People's Republic by the AFU. It was stated today in the press service of the Commissioner for Human Rights Darya Morozova.
From February 27 to March 4 as a result of military operations in the Donetsk People's Republic with injuries of varying severity there were hospitalized seven people, among them six servicemen of the DPR and one civilian. Five military personnel of the DPR died.
Over the last week the Office of the DPR Commissioner for Human Rights also registered five cases of illegal detention of the local residents, ten more people went missing.
Over the last week the Ombudsman's Office registered 15 reports about the missing people and detentions by the Ukrainian side.
According to the Office, two civilians and three servicemen of the DPR are illegally detained by the Ukrainian side. Five civilians and as many Donbass defenders went missing.

According to all the available data from the Darya Morozova's Office, in places of confinement Kiev holds about 1115 persons among them 367 servicemen of the DPR, 577 - because of their political convictions, 171 persons having nothing to do with the conflict. 411 more citizens are registered as missing persons and may also be in the Ukrainian captivity.

Since the outset of hostilities in Donbass there have been killed 3966 persons, among them 583 women and 3393 men. Besides, more than 6208 persons received wounds of varying severity.
