Gaza tunnels serve as the only lifeline for Palestinians to bring basic commodities like construction materials, food, and fuel into the besieged coastal enclave. Israeli and the Egyptian army forces have launched a campaign to destroy the tunnels.
Dozens of people, mostly Palestinians, have lost their lives during the destruction process, which has intensified since Egypt's first democratically-elected president, Mohamed Morsi, was toppled in a July 2013 military coup led by Sisi.
The Gaza Strip has been under an Israeli siege since June 2007. The blockade has caused a decline in the standards of living as well as unprecedented levels of unemployment and unrelenting poverty. The Israeli regime denies about 1.8 million people in Gaza their basic rights, such as freedom of movement, jobs with proper wages as well as adequate healthcare and education.
All the tunnel goods could be wrapped in plastic raincoats, the operators could wear scuba gear? However, a much better idea would be a direct appeal to Russia and China for humanitarian relief, and intervention. Those Jews calling themselves Israeli's, totally ignore United Nations resolutions, so why must other willing Nations be emasculated by Jewish control of the U.N.? The United States of America are now a dead horse anyway, but if a joint request for the purpose of delivering humanitarian aid and security, to occupied Palestine, was made to the U.N. jointly by Russia and China, the General Assembly would pass it. Because of the recalcitrance by Israelis and the U.S., and the inevitable Veto by the U.S. they would have a hard time stopping this action, and at the same time justifying why it must be stopped. Palestinians have suffered abominably at the hands of U.S. and Israeli punishments, and yet no one has given explanations as to why it must be so or why it can be justifiably continued; Palestinians deserve and are entitled to regain possession of at least fifty percent of their historical homelands, and be returned to normal living circumstances with all human rights re-established.
