He said Kiev had beefed up its units with Stugna antitank missile systems on several most important directions. "We took an opportunity of this period of temporary inactivity," he said.
According to the president, the Ukrainian Ukroboronprom concern is on the list of ten top world arms exporters, but is facing a more ambitious task of hitting the list of top five.
However, that Merkel can go to Moscow and tell Putin, he needs to do more for the peace in Ukraine, and that very few in the US/EU can see the problem the EU has got supporting the Kiev government and its policies, including the most recent claim that Russia needs to pay 350 billion in damages for a mess the EU/US/NATO/(Israel) has been assisting from the beginning and long before, that is in my opinion a problem. Therefore, if Poroshenko is a dubious character, then he has a number of colleagues in the EU who are in the same league and that is ominous. In other words it can hardly lead to a bright future; at least not in the short run.
