South of there, in Tulsa, that same front did some serious damage. Tulsa didn't get the king size hail, but the high winds took out big trees, power for much of the city and communications. Large parts of the city are still without power, phones, cable and internet. Crews working around the clock have most of the trees and downed power poles out of the streets, but no one knows when the lights will be back on. My daughter has power at her house but no communication (Cox... why doesn't that surprise me?). Everything works at her office in mid town, though.
