Speed Freak?
Apparently speed was a problem. One newspaper said the driver admitted to traveling at 190 km in an area where speed was supposed to be 80km. He regularly boasted on facebook that he ran trains much faster than he was supposed to.
If this is the case, he will probably be charged with manslaughter.

It's not clear from the video what caused this crash. The news media are speculating that the train was going far too fast and therefore jumped the track, based on the video and eyewitness impressions, and that might be the case. It does appear to be moving very fast just before this accident.
However, the crash doesn't begin with the engine leaving the rails, instead it begins with two cars about two or three cars back from the engine that suddenly jump the track with a cloud of dust and a bright flash. Those cars also seem to be immediately thrown sideways into the retaining wall. This might be complicated event.
