When facing the unknown, and when solutions are not yet formulated, this is NOT the time to leave present methods that are known to work. (The Constitution) Nor is it rational to regress to former methods that are known NOT to work. (Fascism)
Times do change, and we need to evolve to an even better form of government. But please, do not rush willy-nilly, and from a position of fear, to accomplish a utopia that we must earn thru hard work. These are not easy times, and there is no easy way out. Face the fact that the world is now rubbing elbows together, and using force makes both victim and perpetrator repeat an endless cycle of war. It is a time for new ideas. In the meantime, do not throw out the baby with the bathwater.
