History will have to record that the greatest tragedy of this period of social transition was not the strident clamor of the bad people, but the appalling silence of the good people.

What really matters is that there's a lot more stuff raining down on Earth these days.
With 861 planets discovered outside the Solar System, the latest being a Moon, an Astronomer had this to say:
'University of California, Berkeley astronomer Geoff Marcy, one of the founding fathers of the planet-hunting field, called the latest find "absolutely mind-boggling."
"This new discovery raises the specter that the universe is jampacked, like jelly beans in a jar, with planets even smaller than Earth," said Marcy, who had no role in the new research.'
Jampacked, in here and out there. And the Solar System is cruising somewhat northward. By coincidence, there is a curious lack of galaxies and clusters of galaxies in the area around Polaris, by about a 5 degree circle. The Milky Way itself blocks deep space, but the area around Polaris has no visible cloud, which would carry the designation MBM and a number. Curious.
