Since the 9/11 attacks, no book has provided a satisfactory answer as to WHY the attacks occurred and who was ultimately responsible for carrying them out - until now.
The perspective of the study is ass backwards, and skewed. Most stimulant drugs like cocaine, or methamphetamine, are also powerful appetite suppressants in their own right. So once an animal or human is exposed, and addicted, the choice between the two becomes obvious if no intelligent rational thought is applied to the decision.
For one addicted to an appetite suppressant drug, when the choice becomes, “do I seek food or do I seek the drug?”, here’s the subjective reality the decision is made from: Food will remove the hunger, but the drug withdrawal symptoms will persist; while the drug will remove both.
This is why if you suspect someone is addicted to, and regularly using, such drugs, a good test if you suspect they are high is to invite them sit down to a good and tasty meal with you.
Tweakers and Crackheads (methamphetamine addicts and cocaine addicts) won’t want to eat. And if they go through treatment, and successfully kick the habit, their appetites tend to return with a vengeance. And suddenly weight control can become a problem that replaces the addiction.
is that LACK of hunger and drug addiction may be linked.
"We found that animals that have less interest in food are more interested in novelty-seeking behaviours and drugs like cocaine," said Horvath.
