He just might.

He doesn't trace the plan very deep - Pentagon and Rand Corp. But that's enough to give us an idea of who's really behind it.

It seems very cynical, doesn't it? After all, a lot of the people involved on the ground are quite sincere and are more or less oblivious to the manipulations going on behind the scenes. Yet what he is saying seems to be coming true. These areas are not settling down into a new age of reform and prosperity. They have simply become even more unstable.

I hope everyone is seeing the pattern here. There are multiple levels of power. Each one uses trickery and deceit to get the next level down to play along with its game. Many events are manufactured, and many conflicts are the result of third party activities and not really caused by irreconcilable differences. This has been the story of life for a long time now.
