LAURA KNIGHT-JADCZYK AND JOE QUINN
Since the 9/11 attacks, no book has provided a satisfactory answer as to WHY the attacks occurred and who was ultimately responsible for carrying them out - until now.
an example of how bad the non-science is on the anti-GM people - the reality GM crops should really be endorsed by the organic groups. They have massively reduced insecticide use - there is ample logic to back this up. They have increased the use of roundup (glyphosate) and gluphosinate herbicides that couldn't be used until Gm resistant crops were produced but these (despite what is said) are some of the safest herbicides to use for a variety of reasons and if you know that 99% of soybeans and corn acres use herbicide then its better we use the safest. You have to rationally assess these issues not blindly believe everything you read. The biggest change to ecosystems is cultivation versus no cultivation (whether it is organic or conventional or GM. When you take 30 million acre of corn treated with a nerve poison insecticide and replace it with Bt corn that a is a massive reduction in insecticide. I you had the choice of drinking a ;lethal cup of chemical insecticide or a cup of Bt corn (Bt used in the organic area and with no unsafe limit set by EPA) what makes sense to drink? Its not realist to stop the use of the Bt corn - we use corn for many things especially the production of meat - good luck getting everyone to go veggie
Are you a payed shill or an utterly ignorant ninkampoop? What you've written in both comments above is just disinformation/propaganda. All your claims are utter bunk. There's a ton of scientific evidence about the extreme dangers of GMO's and lots in the databases of this site. It would be best to not feed animals corn or any other grain, especially GMO, in the first place, but to let them graze and it the foods that are natural to them and won't make them sick (and by extension, the humans who consume the animals). The best that could be done for ecosystems would be to stop agriculture altogether, and let the natural system recover, but that's a whole other story, as it's not possible for all of us to return to hunter gatherers just like that....
(For the inquiring reader who has not done so, you should read "The Vegetarian Myth" or listen to Lierre Kieth's presentations and interviews to see what human agriculture has done to the biosphere of the planet and what awaits humanity in the near future.)
Your spewing of utter nonsense is a major disservice to the readers and an attempt. consciously or not, to mislead people and is NOT appreciated.
MONSANTO has a program called "Cradle to Grave" It offers up to $4.50 per acre if a farmer will use new highly toxic pesticides on their crops. These new untested highly dangerous chemicals have names such as 'Reaper' and 'Terminator' and are expected to be applied to the food plant from the moment the sprout emerges from the soil all the way to harvest. Thus the name "Cradle to Grave".
Post Script: So, above commenter, put that in your cup and drink it.
unfortunately for the science Dr Huber is a crackpot- his claims are not backed by any data no papers reviewed by peers and he has been disowned by his previous employers and peers. The USDA was made aware of this and has done nothing. Because there is nothing to investigate. This is bad for anyone who is actually worried about the safety since it discredits all who are foolish to believe it
