Statin drugs concretize and institutionalize a certain myth about cardiovascular disease that the masses are only now beginning to awaken from, namely, that cardiovascular disease is caused by cholesterol and that cholesterol-suppression "therapy" reduces cardiovascular morbidity and mortality.

The 25 billion dollar-a-year commercial apotheosis of Statin drug therapy, purportedly intended to prevent and treat cardiovascular disease, represents a very real post- post-modern form of human sacrifice, implicit in the very etymolgical origin of the word "pharmaceutical":

"A Pharmakós (Greek: φαρμακός) in Ancient Greek religion was a kind of human scapegoat (a slave, a cripple or a criminal) who was chosen and expelled from the community at times of disaster (famine, invasion or plague) or at times of calendrical crisis, when purification was needed." [Source: Wikipedia]

The sacrificial dimension of the Pharmakós carries on in the nostrums and potions later named after this ritualistic object:

The term "pharmakos" later became the term "pharmakeus" which refers to "a drug, spell-giving potion, druggist, poisoner, by extension a magician or a sorcerer." A variation of this term is "pharmakon" (φάρμακον) a complex term meaning sacrament, remedy, poison, talisman, cosmetic, perfume or intoxicant. From this, the modern term "pharmacology" emerged. One no longer has to look to religion for the absolutist claim to truth. Medical science has laid claim to the body in the same way that religions once laid claim to the soul. The physician today -- albeit a glorified "applied pharmacologist" -- has become the "priest of the body," capable of influencing the course of life or death by the quality, or combinations, of nostrums (s)he is able to apply to the problem (i.e. patient) at hand.]

Just as monotheism depends on there being "one God," modern medical science depends on the "evidence-based" concept that there is one truth, and one right way to apply it. This, by implication, gives absolute power to those who would claim to know the difference.

We do not take the hegemony of the statin drug industry lightly, when it comes to its influence over the minds of the 1 in 4 Americans over 45 who take these drugs to alleviate their risk of cardiovascular disease.

We have done our due diligence by reviewing thousands of studies housed on the National Library of Medicine's biomedical database known as MEDLINE, and finding over 400 studies indicating that statin drugs contribute to 300 diseases and/or adverse side effects. Here are the results of the investigation thus far.

If, after viewing these studies you are still doubtful of the intrinsically harmful nature of this chemical class of drugs, view my lecture on the topic to learn more: The Cholesterol Hypothesis: The Shocking Truth about Screenings & Scans*

"At the end of times the merchants of the world will deceive the nations through their Pharmacia."
(sorcery) - Rev 18:23
If ever there was a prophecy that hit so close to home, this would be it. We have entered a stage of human (de-)volution rightly called "Pharmageddon."

Drugs have become the answer to all what ails us; suppression of symptoms becomes the ultimate goal of drug-based "therapies." The underlying truth represented by the symptom becomes marginalized or villified as "other," as the "enemy" and subsequently suppressed. THIS is what is know as "Pharmageddon," a theoretical "end of times" based on our inability to let the body undergo natural transformations consistent with self-healing, having to intervene -- sometimes violently -- in order to suppress the body's truth.

Whether by prophecy, or bodily self-knowing, humans have degenerated to point of complete inanity. Disease is not caused by a lack of drugs, and yet, our handlers -- the dominant medical paradigm -- claims otherwise: namely, disease is a priori caused by a LACK of a drug or medical intervention.

Liberation from chemical oppression begins with the cessation of exposure to all chemicals. Pharmaceuticals -- by their very definition -- involve the sacrifice of our intrinsic bodily self-possession in favor of semi-synthetic embodiment. When liberated from external chemical exposures, our body is aligned with cosmic forces intertwined with the very fabric of who we were meant to be.
