This is worth watching for a general understanding of many things brain/behavior related even if you don't have energies tied up with porn. It offers concise insight into the basic brain mechanics which drive automatic, and therefore, most life in all its many aspects. A good refresher course.
It never occurred to me before that adrenaline in combination with an emotional or behavioral pattern works to strengthen a given neural pathway. I mean, I knew that, but I didn't THINK about it. The connection which jumped out for me was coffee.
Coffee, (caffeine), is essentially a controlled adrenaline switch. What you are thinking about or doing while drinking coffee is going to leave a much deeper trench in your brain than otherwise. Verrrry interesting.
