The insurgents in Balochistan are Indians operating in connivance with US security firm Blackwater, former Inter Services Intelligence (ISI) Punjab chief Brigadier (retired) Mohammad Aslam Ghuman has alleged.
"Pervez Musharraf provided safe passage to the Indian intelligence agency RAW, which has established dozens of consulates in Afghanistan along the border with Balochistan," The Nation quoted Ghuman, as saying.
He claimed that days after the Russian federation collapsed, US' Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), India's Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) and Israel's Mossad carried out a comprehensive analysis and recommended launching a major operation inside Pakistan, especially Balochistan, to shake the state.
"Yes, the CIA in connivance with RAW and Blackwater is operating in Balochistan and other parts of the country," he remarked, adding, "They cannot absorb any Islamic atomic state."
"They wish to have complete control over the entire Balochistan, especially the Gwadar port, and seize the nuclear assets of Pakistan," Ghuman alleged.
He urged Pakistani politicians, especially President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani to shun their silence and "show sincerity to the country".
Like in other countries, Blackwater has multiplied its network in Pakistan, honeycombed with the CIA, the US Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC), Pentagon and the State Department in conducting various terror operations in the country, Ghuman added.
Excellent post. Ghuman's allegations seem to be well-supported by a number of Pakistani analysts - though the government of Pakistan will only discuss the issue behind closed doors.
There have been several excellent exposes published about training camps for Baloch separatists the CIA has set up (with the help of Indian and Russian intelligence - evidence for Mossad involvement is more sketchy) Moreover there’s no way to ascertain whether random acts of terror in the tribal areas on the border between Afghanistan and Pakistan are caused by the Taliban, Al Qaeda or the CIA-funded BLA. However there's no question that CIA-sponsored BLA terrorism is a major factor in the climate of violence and instability in the region - especially around the Chinese-built port in Gwadar, Pakistan (employed to offload Iranian oil destined for China).
Given that both China and Iran are both major political/economic rivals, it's a pity the US media doesn't report on any of this.
The Pentagon/CIA make no secret of their desire to see energy and mineral rich Balochistan secede from Pakistan to become a US client state - just like energy and mineral rich Hopefully Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and the other former Soviet
