Location of Sighting: St Austell, Cornwall
Date of Sighting: 5 MArch 2010
Time: 8.30pm

Witness Statement: My friend and I were driving toward St Austell last night on the A390 and I had been watching 3 very bright orange lights in a saucer shape above the height of the street lights but below the stars for a minute or so and said to my friend 'what is that light over there?' She said ' I don't know , I've also been watching it for a while but didn't say anything in case you thought I'm crazy!'. It was NOT chinese lanterns (we have both seen them before and these lights were far too bright).

These lights were not moving across the sky either, they were static, as if hovering( my ex was a helicopter pilot so I know what those lights look like- it was NOT a helicopter or plane). We continued to drive to our friends house just off the A390 and quickly got out of the car.....looked up into the clear sky and the object had completely vanished! If anyone else saw this, we would love to know, and what it was? We are convinced it was nothing we had ever witnessed before.
