Description: Listen to Recording of Witness Report (MP3)

The witness called and left a voice-mail message containing a detailed explicit report. I subsequently called and interviewed him to confirm details regarding the report. He stated that he had just arrived home after picking up his niece from school. They had just got out of the car and noticed a dark circular object moving rapidly westward in the sky. The object was moving rapidly into the wind which was from a southwesterly direction (gusts to 18 MPH). The witness first thought that the object could have been a balloon, but rejected this notion when he realized that the object was moving rapidly into the wind. The witnesses both saw the object and confirmed each others observations.

The witness stated that his 10 year old niece "freaked out" when she saw the object. The object quickly disappeared into the approaching storm clouds. The cloud bases were about 3,500 feet in the area at the time of the sighting. Some clear patches were observed in the sky, but rain began falling a few hours after the sighting.

Note: The witness is an engineer and works for a Fortune 500 company. He seemed quite credible and answered all questions. He saw no other aircraft in the sky at the time of the sighting. The craft also did not make any sound.
