It's been a year since Obama swept to power on a wave of euphoria many hoped would bring relief from these traumatic times. He has indeed brought hope to some, but not to humanity. He has indeed brought change, alas it is change for the worse. Behind the carefully groomed image of a man of peace, beneath the thinly veiled disguise of benevolent intentions, dark forces wield the US machinery of government as a Weapon of Mass Destruction.

In this month's Connecting the Dots we witness how, at one fell swoop, the Evil Empire decimated and invaded yet another country. Environmental warfare and cyberwarfare have come to the fore and joined forces with the drone Reapers in the frontline of the Pentagon's quest for full-spectrum domination. Al Qaeda's Christmas Day Special was followed up with a wave of hysterical aftershocks in January that have sinister implications at many levels.

Against a backdrop of freezing weather all across the northern hemisphere the tower of global warming is crumbling. The collusion of big government and big pharma to inoculate us against a non-existent pandemic masks the one true pandemic confronting humanity: the psychopaths that bring us targeted assassinations, wars, torture, toxic vaccines... then blame humanity for their consequences. No vaccine can protect conscience, only awareness of the predators in our midst. "Swine Flu" appears to have receded, but the swine are still with us.

If events in 2010 keep up this pace, then humanity is in for a rough ride. Hang on as we navigate the month that was January.

Haiti: Murder Inc.


New Year cheer turned to despair for the long-suffering Haitians when a pin-point earthquake measuring 7.0 on the Richter scale obliterated Port-au-Prince on January 12. Haiti's plight under the heel of US domination of its "backyard" had been all but forgotten in a world distracted by the media circus of the War on Terror. The utter destruction left at least 150,000 dead and hundreds of thousands more still without water, food and medical attention. In December Glen Ford gave an account of US policy in Haiti in the era of President No-Change:
The Barack Obama presidency was supposed to signal a new era in U.S. foreign policy, including in Latin America, which had turned decisively against George Bush's blustering, bullying and coup-making. What has emerged under Obama is not a reversal of historic U.S. imperial policies in the Americas, but a cosmetic adjustment. President Obama uses far less warlike language than his predecessor, but he deploys every trick and deceit in the book to maintain U.S. dominance in the region. And like all bullies who have had their noses bloodied, he tries to create fear in the hemisphere by picking on the smaller countries.

President Aristide's party was last week barred from taking part in legislative elections scheduled for February, in Haiti. The oligarchy-controlled elections commission claimed the party failed to fill out some forms properly. Back in June, only about ten percent of the people turned out for elections in which Aristide's party was excluded.

These two electoral travesties are the true face of President Obama's policy on democracy in the Americas. Wherever the U.S. has the power to thwart the democratic process, it does so, and then bides its time, waiting for another opportunity to stab its neighbors in the back.

How many of you wondered like we did, "What have Haitians done to deserve this?" They've been beaten, abused, exploited and neglected since Europeans wiped out the original inhabitants and replaced them with abducted Africans who remain enslaved there to the present day.

Even before the earthquake, most Haitians had no running water, electricity or basic sanitation. 75% of the population lives on less than $2 per day, and 56% - four and a half million people - live on less than $1 per day. UNICEF says there were already 380,000 orphans in a population of 9 million on January 11th. IMF control of its economy has decimated its food supply, forcing reliance on imported US grains. A UN "peacekeeping" force took over from US soldiers following the most recent US intervention in 2004, when Bush set loose US-trained thugs on Jean-Bertrand Aristide for daring to implement minor measures to improve Haitian living standards. Indeed he was the second Bush to do so: Bush Senior was President when Aristide was ousted in a CIA coup in 1991. Although the UN's "performance" had been criticized for "turning a blind eye" to the Haitian National Police (another School of the Americas-trained death squad operating on behalf of Haiti's criminal elite), the ugly truth is that since the 2004 coup d'état the UN has been directly involved in carrying out targeted assassinations of members of Aristide's Lavalas Party and has broken up public rallies by brazenly murdering demonstrators in broad daylight.

Finian Cunningham wrote for the Gulf Daily News:
Can you imagine how many lives could have been saved in Haiti's earthquake if a fraction of the money squandered on futile wars had been directed to economic and social development of that country?

Of course, the moral and sensible logic of that idea does not apply in a world dictated by Washington's foreign policy. This is because of the imperatives and logic of US-led capitalism, which requires countries like Haiti to be kept in a state of poverty for the sake of corporate profit and which requires the fixation on illusory threats to cover up its need to control geopolitical resources (mainly energy). This is the true face of the economic system that Washington and its allies impose on the world. And Haiti has pulled the mask off this ugly face.
Western media wasted no time attempting to put the mask back on. Haitians were still stumbling around in shock, caked in blood and dust, seeking out loved ones, while media outlets (predominantly from the US) revived the fictitious voodoo used on New Orleans in the aftermath of Katrina, hyping non-existent "marauding gangs armed with machetes" and "looters" rampaging through Port-au-Prince. Witnesses on the ground reported that people were generally cooperative in their efforts to salvage what goods they could for their survival.

In the midst of all this suffering, a US cruise ship company maintained course, ferrying conscienceless wealthy tourists to a private beach and pier owned by the company, where passengers embarked for a day's sunbathing, feasting and cocktails at sunset. What willpower it must take to block out the ocean of pain just beyond the electrified fence and armed guards protecting your own private "paradise." The Royal Caribbean cruise company, which purchased the beach thanks to Bill Clinton's powers of persuasion, named the resort "Labadee®", a variation of the French slave owner Marquis de La'Badie who settled in Haiti in the 1600's. Little wonder then neither the company nor its clients feel any pangs of conscience - as psychopaths and modern slave owners by proxy, it's only natural they identify with their forebears.

Cuba had doctors working on the ground in Haiti within a day of the quake, impoverished Gazans contributed what they could, China sent teams of disaster rescue personnel, while the greatest democracy in the world sent Scientologists, solar-powered audible Bibles (that can "broadcast the holy scriptures in Haitian Creole to 300 people at a time") and guns. Lots of Big Guns. We knew what was coming when it became apparent the fleet of US warships, aircraft carriers and helicopters were laden with guns and ammo, not food, water and urgently needed medical supplies. Surely only a criminal mind could inject 10,000 soldiers into this nightmare? The French government raised a cry as US soldiers "secured" Haiti's main airport and began turning away planes carrying aid. Just like that, the US Empire invaded and occupied yet another country (yet again). To add insult to injury, the UN sent in 3,500 more "peacekeepers" to prevent Haitians from organizing themselves during the temporary power vacuum. With aid bottle-necked at Toussaint airport and the streets strewn with rotting bodies and precariously angled buildings, a powerful aftershock measuring 6.1 further terrorized the survivors.

The destroyed dark alleys of Port-au-Prince have exposed the brutal fruits of 100 years of US rule by proxy. Children discreetly sold to wealthier families in exchange for a fee and a promise to raise the child in more comfortable surroundings are known locally as Restaveks (from the French "rester avec", 'to stay with'). They invariably end up enslaved - often literally chained to their masters' abode - and abused as little more than chattel. There were thought to be 300,000 child slaves in addition to 400,000 orphans pre-quake. Now an adoption free-for-all is taking place as UNICEF estimates that another million children have lost their parents. With little Haitian "government" to speak of, foreign governments and international adoption agencies have been airlifting children kidnapped from camps, medical centers and shelters out of Haiti to western countries, mainly to the US. This is highly illegal as international convention requires a minimum two year period for parents to claim their children following disasters. The way is wide open for predators of every kind to gorge themselves on a traumatized country awash with lost children. Many will be bought and sold for as little as $50 to become Restaveks or child prostitutes for the sex trade in the Caribbean and beyond.

Already a group of 10 Americans belonging to Idaho-based New Life Children's Refuge have been caught smuggling 33 children across the border into the Dominican Republic where they planned to place 100 children in a "resort orphanage" that isn't even built yet. The group claimed the children had been found abandoned, but when interviewed, some of the kids said their abductors had called on people's homes and offered to take the children from families unable to feed them. Testimony to the danger facing these children is the recent indictment in Connecticut of Douglas Perlitz, founder of the Project Pierre Toussaint, charged with enticing at least 18 children with gifts then sexually abusing them in a school he established in Haiti.

The US forces have taken over what remains of the Presidential Palace, three other airports in the country and effected a naval blockade of Haiti to prevent people leaving by boat. On top of that, Obama deployed another 10,000 troops. Where is he finding all these spare soldiers? Is the US military not already stretched in its colonial adventures elsewhere?

It's not the first time in recent history this has happened. Three years of military rule followed the 1991 coup d'état before President "humanitarian" Clinton, sent US 20,000 occupation troops as "peacekeepers" to Haiti in 1994. As Michel Chossudovsky explains, "the US military intervention was not intended to restore democracy. Quite the contrary: it was carried out to prevent a popular insurrection against the military Junta and its neoliberal cohorts."

What a sick sense of humor Obama must have to send Bush II and Clinton as "special relief envoys" to a country that lies in ruins largely because of the very actions these two psychopaths sanctioned during their shared dynasty at the figurative helm of the imperial throne. Pentagon contracters and disaster capitalists lined up behind the military takeover, offering "armed cargo escorts" and "high threat terminations" to deal with "looters" and "worker unrest," while the 100,000 formaldehyde-laced FEMA trailers that housed Katrina survivors were seriously considered for deployment to Haiti.

And just what were the IDF doing in Haiti? Could it be that the fascist state of Israel genuinely wanted to assist humans in need? It established emergency field hospitals with high-tech medical equipment for performing surgeries in double-quick time, leading Israeli daily Maariv to gloat that Haiti's calamity was "good for the Jews." Western media followed up by praising Israel's generous response to the heavens, carefully omitting mention of the IDF's treatment of Palestinians in Gaza and the Occupied Territories "back home", where the IDF's surgeries are notoriously efficient.

As if all this wasn't sinister enough, the CIA has brought its uniquely conscienceless form of crowd control to the disaster zone with drones monitoring the skies overhead, while its "friendly face" sister organization USAID has assumed command of food distribution, at one point ordering US soldiers to cease distributing rations until it was satisfied that its "operational procedures" were in place.

What script is the US military-intelligence structure following here? As it turns out, a very particular one prepared in advance: a Haiti "disaster relief scenario" was envisaged by the US military one day before the earthquake. The Pentagon's Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) happened to be at the headquarters of the U.S. Southern Command in Miami preparing to run a "simulation" that involved providing relief to Haiti in the wake of a hurricane. Next day the earthquake happens, and Southern Command decides to "go live" with the integrated military response system it was supposedly "testing." Does that remind you of anything? Operation Vigilant Guardian on 9/11? The London Underground exercise on 7/7?

The highly coordinated and massive military response from the US makes sense if it took only one "switch" to mobilize 20,000 US troops, an aircraft carrier, the USS Bataan prison ship, CIA drones and a vast array of high-tech equipment in what is unmistakably a sophisticated plan of invasion. Other revelations compound the sinister implications of the Pentagon's "exercise." Lt. Gen. Ken Keen, deputy director of U.S. Southern Command, flew into Port-au-Prince on the morning of the 12th and was outdoors along with all but one of his team of officers when the quake struck at 5pm. Keen is now overseeing U.S. military operations as commander of Joint Task Force Haiti. The Times reported that the British government withdrew its navy from the Caribbean only weeks before, making it the "first time that the Royal Navy has had a significant gap in cover in the Caribbean since the 17th century." Tiny Haiti is home to the 4th largest embassy in the American empire, a gargantuan fortress built to withstand earthquakes and relocated away from the city following the 2004 coup d'état. The new "embassy" is now located in the Tabarre suburb, conveniently close to Toussaint Louverture International Airport.

What could the US want this embassy for? Hugo Chavez knows what it's for: Haiti provides the US with an ideal strategic location for launching attacks against Venezuela. Sandwiched between the US bases at Guantanamo Bay and Puerto Rico, the island of Hispaniola provides the US with the launchpad it needs for imperial adventures in South America. Chavez probably knows, along with most other governments, that the earthquake was deliberately induced on the orders of the Powers That Be that control the US National Security State, with the White House not necessarily privy to the plan. Initially the Venezuelan President was quoted as saying the US used Haiti's earthquake as a pretext to invade the country but then he was later quoted as saying the US caused the earthquake with a "tectonic weapon". His source was "alleged" to be an "unconfirmed" Russian Northern Fleet report that claimed a United States Navy test of one of its 'earthquake weapons', which was intended to be used later against Iran, went "horribly wrong." This "HAARP-related test gone wrong" story is likely disinformation to distort the signal coming through the white noise indicating that the deep state within the US power structure very deliberately planned the murder of hundreds of thousands of Haitians to advance its goals and silence all opposition.

This is how Agence France-Presse described the White House decision to send the initial 10,000 troops to Haiti:
"On Wednesday, Obama ordered a 'swift, coordinated and aggressive effort to save lives,' in Haiti following the murderous quake, as a massive US aid mission swung into action, using troops, naval forces, aircraft and rescue teams."

A "murderous" earthquake? Mother nature "kills" people, but she doesn't set out to murder them! Could this be French Intelligence's way of getting the message out that the earthquake was not in fact an act of nature? Does the Ethiopian Airlines plane that went down in flames shortly after take-off from Beirut airport on January 24 have anything to do with this? The wife of the French ambassador to Lebanon was among a party of French officials killed in this "crash" which The Times indicated may have been caused by sabotage. Three days before the "crash", Lebanese prime minister Saad Hariri had met the French Ambassador to discuss "bringing stability" to the Middle East, something that certain people would obviously prefer not to happen. More importantly perhaps, just two days before the suspicious crash, Hariri flew to the Palace Elysée to hammer out an arms deal with President Sarkozy. The "Russian Northern Fleet" report about Haiti being a US "earthquake weapons test" was doing the rounds during this time. Were the French officials that met with the Lebanese leader taken out as a warning to French intelligence not to reveal the US hand in causing the earthquake? Taken together with French Cooperation Minister Alain Joyandet calling for the UN to investigate the US invasion his admonishment to the US that "This is about helping Haiti, not about occupying Haiti," we wonder what spy vs spy games are going on in the shadows.

Besides deposing Chavez and (re)establishing US regional hegemony, thereby acquiring direct control of Venezuela's oil reserves, Haiti and surrounding waters may also have vast untapped reserves of oil, while gold and copper exploration has yielded positive results.

Israel has certainly chosen an interesting time to announce ongoing "research into how earthquakes are formed" by inducing earthquakes, while the Pentagon announced February 7 that it was planning further "earthquake simulations", beginning in Alaska sometime this spring.

We've seen since 9/11 that the US government has no qualms obliterating whole countries through "creative destruction", leaving millions dead and wounded in the wake of its imperialistic goals and thirst for oil. If it had the means to cause earthquakes at specific locations, would it be shy about using it? Many are suggesting HAARP as the likely culprit, but the high amounts of concentrated energy required to cause an earthquake at a specific location may require a more precise method of delivery. Perhaps a good place to start looking is space-based weapons. Reagan's Strategic Defense Initiative "Star Wars" program didn't die with the Soviet Union. In fact, the "Evil Empire" was the justification for the real Evil Empire to construct technologies that would enable it to control the whole planet:
"Environmental warfare is defined as the intentional modification or manipulation of the natural ecology, such as climate and weather, earth systems such as the ionosphere, magnetosphere, tectonic plate system, and/or the triggering of seismic events (earthquakes) to cause intentional physical, economic, psycho-social, and physical destruction to an intended target geophysical or population location, as part of strategic or tactical war." As far back as 1955 John von Neumann said that "Intervention in atmospheric and climatic matters... will unfold on a scale difficult to imagine at present... this will merge each nation's affairs with those of every other, more thoroughly than the threat of a nuclear or any other war would have done." In 1977, the nations of the world were obviously aware of the dangerous implications of the Pentagon's development of "environmental modification techniques" because an international Convention was ratified by the UN General Assembly banning "military or other hostile use of environmental modification techniques", which it defined as "any technique for changing - through the deliberate manipulation of natural processes - the dynamics, composition or structure of the earth, including its biota, lithosphere, hydrosphere and atmosphere, or of outer space."

The Pentagon is (or was, until its report was taken offline) on record as having claimed the ability to modify terran and space weather as part of its strategic arsenal:
"[Weather modification] offers the war fighter a wide range of possible options to defeat or coerce an adversary... Weather modification will become a part of domestic and international security and could be done unilaterally... It could have offensive and defensive applications and even be used for deterrence purposes. The ability to generate precipitation, fog and storms on earth or to modify space weather... and the production of artificial weather all are a part of an integrated set of [military] technologies." (US Air Force document AF 2025 Final Report)
In April 1997, then-Defense Secretary William Cohen, answering a journalist's question about an apparently unrelated topic at a conference on terrorism, slipped in some curious remarks about the type of weapons available to those bent on terrorising humanity. The following exchange is taken verbatim from a transcript posted on the Department of Defense website, which used to found here:
Q: Let me ask you specifically about last week's scare here in Washington, and what we might have learned from how prepared we are to deal with that (inaudible), at B'nai Brith.

A: Well, it points out the nature of the threat. It turned out to be a false threat under the circumstances. But as we've learned in the intelligence community, we had something called -- and we have James Woolsey here to perhaps even address this question about phantom moles. The mere fear that there is a mole within an agency can set off a chain reaction and a hunt for that particular mole which can paralyze the agency for weeks and months and years even, in a search. The same thing is true about just the false scare of a threat of using some kind of a chemical weapon or a biological one. There are some reports, for example, that some countries have been trying to construct something like an Ebola Virus, and that would be a very dangerous phenomenon, to say the least. Alvin Toeffler has written about this in terms of some scientists in their laboratories trying to devise certain types of pathogens that would be ethnic specific so that they could just eliminate certain ethnic groups and races; and others are designing some sort of engineering, some sort of insects that can destroy specific crops. Others are engaging even in an eco- type of terrorism whereby they can alter the climate, set off earthquakes, volcanoes remotely through the use of electromagnetic waves. So there are plenty of ingenious minds out there that are at work finding ways in which they can wreak terror upon other nations.

Plane Madness

Did you hear the one about the guy who walks onto a plane with a bomb in his underpants? Surely you did. Apart from providing us with an opportunity to make fun of the War on Terror® propaganda, the episode of the underpants bomber was followed this month by an enormous spike in weirdness surrounding airports and airplanes all over the planet.

It was predictable that the Underwear farce would produce yet more ridiculous "security measures" and outbreaks of hysteria. Clearly the most infuriating idea our beloved leaders have come up with is the full-body scanner (aka digital strip-searcher, aka pervscanner), as if airport security wasn't already humiliating enough. We are told these contraptions were operational long ago but were shelved because of "privacy concerns." But the real underlying issue here that few are talking about is that the scanners emit terahertz waves which, according to a study carried out at Los Alamos National Laboratory, could "...unzip double-stranded DNA, creating bubbles in the double strand that could significantly interfere with processes such as gene expression and DNA replication." This is not just another bad joke to be endured with our usual stoicism: it is a direct attack on the health of the population, and further proof that our well being, whatever about their "privacy concerns" or our "security", has never been of any interest to the ruling elite. It's one thing to be held in utter contempt as your dignity is trampled upon; it's another thing altogether for your very DNA to be interfered with "for your protection." We can learn to strategically adapt to the former; but pretty soon there will be no getting around the latter if you want to fly anywhere.

Any discussion of the damaging effects of the DNA-zapping-machine is obscured by a marginal concern for the radiation exposure its use presents, which appears to be minimal. The pretend debate is distracting people towards indignation over privacy concerns which, justifiable as they are, pale in comparison with having one's DNA ripped apart. In any case, whatever concerns people may have, the pathocracy expects to silence them with the absurd story that "internet chatter" on Arab websites has revealed that Al Qaeda™ is planning to insert 'surgical bombs' inside its terrorists, to be detonated with a self-injected hypodermic syringe. May we suggest to the imaginary commanders of non-existent Al Qaeda™ not to bother with such sophistication: the body scanners can't even detect powder explosives anyway.

Notice as well that while US airports provide a full-body pat-down search alternative, the UK has flatly refused people the choice to avoid terahertz stripping - children included. Heathrow and Manchester airports have begun using the scanners, as well as over 30 US airports, Amsterdam and other large European airports, in spite of the fact that EU regulators won't release until April its study on the biological effects of this sinister technology.

It appears the Powers That Be regard airports as testing grounds, as model societies of the kind of world society ruled by extreme control that they envision being implemented in every area of our lives. A "leaked" paper from Dutch authorities outlines a plan to introduce mobile units of these DNA-zappers at public events like sports matches where masses of people are congregated. Airports are the New World Order nightmare in microcosm: giant labyrinthine malls of cold clean architecture where total surveillance is the norm, everyone is a suspect, and anyone is a criminal without the proper documents and totally conformist behavior. Unless you are one of the watchers, of course. (For an insight into how the psychopaths and their less deviant cousins will live under a parallel system, see the US Transportation Security Administration screening manual which was "inadvertently" posted on the web and outlines special rules for screening diplomats, CIA agents, police officers and sundry agents of the Pathocracy).

As air travel continues this on this path we have to wonder if the plan is to effect a complete ban one step at a time? Israel just upgraded its international travel "security" with a new high-tech biometric screening system that requires fingerprint sampling and facial imaging, as well as the issue of 'smart cards' in place of paper boarding passes. Those 'ingenious' Israelis are also developing a system that projects images and symbols onto large screens at airports that supposedly only 'terrorists' would recognize and thereby betray their 'terroristic' intentions with subtle behavioral reactions. The idea is that while they might not have done anything, they nevertheless thought about doing something criminal! But of course with airports making people increasingly nervous, this technology with entrap everyone with a conscience because only psychopaths could remain ice cool and escape the mind-reading scanners unnoticed. Incidentally, the name of the company selling this technology is WeCU Technologies. We C U... We see you. Oh how clever. Fiendishly clever.

Not to be outperformed in the pre-crime department, German technocrats have announced the development of a new security system for airports which involves a network of laser scanners and chemical detectors to identify suspects. The US has revoked visas of those suspected of terrorism links without bothering to specify how many visas were revoked or if the suspected 'links' were any less tenuous than the suspicion of wearing underpants. Vague "security-related" incidents have resulted in hysterical reactions on planes and at airports in India, the UK and the US, where in one case Newark airport went into total chaos with outgoing planes grounded and hundreds of passengers forced to await rescreening as everybody was evacuated from the main terminal... all because a man accidentally went to the wrong terminal and tried to retrace his steps. Apparently it's now considered 'terroristic' to walk the wrong way down a one-way corridor.

With this degree of obsessive control you would think that nothing outside the rules could happen anywhere near an airport - at any rate not a US airport - yet a homeless man managed to steal and crash a plane in a municipal airport in Maryland, while a French citizen bought and flew another in Florida but was accused of stealing it and forced to land by military jets as he could not speak to air traffic controllers in English!

A case in point of what this freak control madness can do to human beings is that of unfortunate 8 year old Mike Hicks, who happens to share the name of a person on the infamous 'no-fly list', and has therefore had to endure airport harassment since age 2. In yet another chilling example of what the watchers can do to us, a Dublin-bound flight was selected for some fun and game whereby eight pieces of "contraband goods" were planted in the luggage of unsuspecting passengers by spooks at Bratislava Airport in Slovakia. Seven were detected by airport security, but the eighth - 90g of research development explosive or RDX, no less! - was put in the luggage of a Slovakian electrician who lives in Dublin and not found until he got a friendly call from Dublin police to confirm he was back in his house. Nothing else was said to him until a massive police raid prompted the evacuation of his entire street in the city center. Now imagine the terror-flavored cover story if the explosives had accidentally detonated. Think as well of what this little incident implies for each of us. How easy would it be for any of us to become unwitting 'suicide bombers' if the string-pullers so choose? Have previous 'terrorist' attacks been staged this way? Or could 'troublemakers' have a 'little something' planted in their luggage, winning them an extended holiday at the Guantanamo Beach Resort?

There has been another thread of high strangeness regarding airports and transport in general which appears related to a high number of power cuts this month, some which are explained by natural causes, such as the weather, but others which remain a mystery. While we do not have an explanation for those, we've noticed in the past that similar events occuring closely in time, but in diverse separate locations, tend to signal that things are about to get very interesting.

Remember, these are just from the past month: The deadliest air travel incident of the month was the crash in the Mediterranean Sea of Ethiopian Airlines flight 409, off Beirut. The Boeing 737 was described by witnesses as "fire falling down from the sky". Marla Pietton, wife of the French ambassador to Lebanon, was among those on board. The Lebanese army said the plane was on fire shortly after take-off, while a defense official added that some witnesses reported the plane broke up into three pieces. With all these interesting pieces of information, it's curious that Lebanese President Michel Suleiman ruled out sabotage immediately - contradicting other reports which suggested sabotage immediately or have "not ruled it out." Perhaps Suleiman wanted to avoid the uncomfortable and likely conclusion in advance. Assuming for a moment that foul play was involved, if the wife of the French ambassador was the target, who was sending a message to France, and why?

The black box has been found, but don't hold your breath waiting for the truth to come out.

Cyberwarfare Against China

In late 2007 the director-general of UK's MI5 sent a letter to 300 British CEOs and security chiefs warning them to be on the lookout for "state-sponsored Chinese hackers carrying out electronic surveillance attacks." This month Google Inc, following "close consultation with the US State Department",
threw down the gauntlet to China by saying it is no longer willing to censor search results on its Chinese service.

The world's leading search engine said the decision followed a cyber-attack that it believes was aimed at gathering information on Chinese human rights activists.

Led by a US media chorus, commentators lauded Google's noble decision to make a stand for individuals' privacy rights when the corporate behemoth this month accused the Chinese government of launching a cyber-attack that enabled it to hack into the Gmail accounts of "dozens of human rights activists" in China, Europe and the US. The devil in the details was that there were not "dozens", but just two Gmail accounts breached "most likely as a result of phishing or malware attacks" which were limited to acquiring basic account information, such as the date the Gmail account was created, rather than the content of emails themselves. Furthermore these two accounts were actually breached in December, yet Google chose to publicize this January 13, on the very same day that its competitor Baidu, the most popular search engine in China, suffered a real and crippling cyber-attack that knocked it offline for 4 hours. The Baidu homepage was redirected to the "Iranian Cyber Army", which claimed responsibility for the attack!
It seems that [Baidu] has had its DNS hacked by the "Iranian cyber Army", the same guys that hacked Twitter a few weeks ago. The process, called DNS cache poisoning, is the corruption of an Internet server's domain name system (DNS) table by replacing an Internet address with that of another, rogue address, in this case what the Iranian Cyber Army want you to see.
The obvious(ly ridiculous) implication was that the attack came from Iran. Following an investigation, Baidu filed a lawsuit for damages in a court in New York against its domain name registration service provider, Register.com Inc, which it accused of "unlawfully and maliciously altering" software behind its domain, resulting in the DNS cache poisoning that corrupted Baidu's domain name system. Incidentally, Larry Kutscher, CEO of Register.com, once served as Managing Director of Wealth Management at Goldman Sachs.

Of course, this was completely ignored by the western media which praised Google's stand against the evil commie Chinese privacy-hating state censors. Yes, China does not allow Twitter into its networks, but who can blame them given its trojan capabilities on display in CIA "soft revolutions" in Moldova and Iran? China knows that certain governments' concept of "freedom of speech" amounts to a cover for bombarding targeted countries with carefully crafted propaganda intended to sow discord and unhinge populations. What Google, the US government and the western media condemn as "increasing censorship", the Chinese government says is its right to protect its networks from malevolent influence. Let's hear the Chinese side of the story:
China on Friday firmly dismissed accusations by the United States that Beijing restricts Internet freedom and warned such claims were damaging to relations between the two nations.

"The US has criticized China's policies to administer the Internet and insinuated China restricts Internet freedom," said Ma Zhaoxu, spokesman for the Foreign Ministry. "China's Internet is open and managed in accordance with law."

Fu Mengzi, a researcher for the China Institutes of Contemporary International Relations, said sovereign nations must supervise Internet content to maintain social security.

"Every country has rights to protect its national security and the US is no exception," he said, adding that Chinese netizens have sufficient access to the information they need in line with laws.

What China did is to safeguard the security of information flow on the Internet, he said.

"It's wrong to set up a false dichotomy between Internet freedom and supervision," he said.

Fu also pointed out that Google has broken Chinese laws by providing links to pornographic sites and infringing intellectual property rights.

The Chinese government, like all centers of power, is no doubt ponerised, but most everything we hear about it is US-centric propaganda filtered through compliant tools like Google. The psychopathic US establishment accusing China of doing what it is in fact engaged in clearly demonstrates this dissonance. Google further accused "Chinese hackers" of cyber attacks against 20 other major companies, yet strangely, none of them chose to step forward and confirm this. Next the Washington Post heightened hysteria by claiming 34 companies had come under attack, including death merchants Northrop Gruman, and that this was all part of a vast Chinese espionage campaign. All of it was fiction of course, supplied by "industry and congressional sources," a modern Red Scare generated to justify attacking "the enemy."

By the time Hilary Clinton graced the stage to publicly support Google's specious accusations, the stench of hypocrisy reached unbearable levels. The US National Security State apparatus routinely monitors all electronic communications, not just in the US, but wherever its global surveillance tentacles reach. We have direct experience of Google's censorship, whereby search results from Sott.net being consistently omitted from Google listings. And what about Google StreetCam, anyone? Google doesn't give a damn about "removing censorship restrictions"; all it cares about is removing impediments to ownership of all information, while serving its masters along the way. This is what Google CEO Eric Schmidt, upstanding patriot that he is, really thinks of your privacy:
"If you have something that you don't want anyone to know, maybe you shouldn't be doing it in the first place. [...]If you really need that kind of privacy, the reality is that search engines - including Google - do retain this information for some time and it's important, for example, that we are all subject in the United States to the Patriot Act and it is possible that all that information could be made available to the authorities."
Google's quest for world domination goes unimpeded within the US Empire's sphere of influence (demonstrated just recently by a proposed ammendment in the UK that would essentially grant Google copyright immunity under English law) but struggles to make inroads into Baidu's 77% market share in China. And this is where Google's interests and the US government's interests dovetail.

The last time a "wave of cyber-attacks" against US targets was attributed to an east Asian country, it soon emerged that the source of the attacks was traced to servers in the UK. The Pentagon's new cross-agency cyber-army, "CyberCommand", had gone online just prior to the attacks, so it seems reasonable to suggest that it was testing its capabilities. We submit that Google's flare-up with the Chinese government this month was synchronized as a decoy while CyberCommand launched its real-time attack against Baidu using the "Iranian Cyber Army" as a false-flag proxy.

Was this American vengeance for being completely upstaged by the Chinese at the Nopenhagen conference in December, perhaps? Or a show of strength in the face of Chinese reluctance to endorse sanctions against Iran? Regardless, China responded to the relentless provocation in the best way possible; with the truth:

[...] It was because online warfare launched by America, via Youtube video and Twitter microblogging, spread rumors, created splits, stirred up, and sowed discord between the followers of conservative reformist factions."

The naked political scheming came full circle with the news that Google, the world's largest Internet search company, is to form an unholy alliance with the NSA, the world's most powerful electronic surveillance organization, in the name of cybersecurity against the cyberwar they have just covertly unleashed.

While the 'civilized world' castigates the Iranian regime for its brusque response to "opposition protests" (in actuality western intelligence attempts to amplify unrest in Iran), diverse proxy terrorist groups ramped up covert warfare throughout January. Pakistan thwarted an operation when it arrested and charged a number of armed Americans in its border region with Iran. Then a physicist involved in Iran's nuclear research program was assassinated in broad daylight in Tehran. The scientist's support for defeated presidential election candidate Mir-Hossein Mousavi was cited as evidence for the Iranian regime blowing him up, but even Haaretz conceded there is no precedent for such a violent assassination being carried out by the Iranian regime. The US naturally denied involvement, but a Los Angeles-based monarchist group, the Iran Royal Association, declared responsibility for the murder only hours after the incident. Next, an 'improvised explosive device' targeted Khorassan Razavi province's governor general, killing a bystander. The Free Life Party of Kurdistan (PJAK), a Kurdish militant group based in Iraqi Kurdistan, joined the raiding party when it claimed responsibility for the assassination of an Iranian state prosecutor near the Turkish border. This was followed by a powerful explosion which ripped though a military base in the south of the country.

From all directions groups with competing separatist ideologies and shared roots in the Evil Empire's military-intelligence apparatus have been primed to infiltrate the Iranian state where possible and execute violent acts of terrorism. Jundullah attacks from the east, Mujahedin-e Khalq (MKO) from the west, the PJAK from the north and rival royalist factions - the Iran Royal Association and the Kingdom Assembly of Iran - attack wherever its spymasters in the US send them.

Despite the escalating carnage and despite being under siege from all sides, the Iranian government is determined to maintain a show of strength. Investigations into the Ashoura Day riots at the end of December traced the Iraq-based MKO for playing a central role in instigating the riots. With striking similarity to the murder of Neda Soltani, the "martyr of democracy" killed in suspiciously staged circumstances last June, Mousavi's nephew was killed with a "rare gun", i.e. one not used by Iranian security forces, away from the scene of protests.

A plane crash, a train crash and an earthquake punctuated a turbulent month within Iran. In typically schizoidal fashion, the 2009 Nobel Peace laureate ordered a string of "defensive" Patriot missile units be installed around Iran "to deter Iran from striking US targets" once the economic siege of Iran begins in earnest. Those "US targets" are the very missile units that are being positioned in Arab fiefdoms along the Persian Gulf. At least one thing is straightforward with Obama: unlike the prelude to shock and awe in Iraq, there isn't going to be any attempt to convince the UN to break international law and endorse "crippling sanctions" this time around.

CIA director Leon Panetta flew into Israel for a coven with Netanyahu, Barak and his Mossad counterpart Meir Dagan on February 1st. The last time he visited the Middle East in early December to discuss operations in Yemen with Saudi officials, the US launched cruise missiles against villages in northern Yemen against the backdrop of a ridiculous false-flag terror attack in the skies over Detroit. We could describe Panetta's visit as a bad "omen", but then everything these psychopaths do has destructive consequences for planet and people:

Obama's masterful performance in doublespeak notwithstanding, the true State of the Union is dire. Elected on a wave of protest against imperial wars of aggression, the 2009 Nobel Peace Laureate has instead overseen the expansion and refinement of mass-murder in the Pentagon's "war theaters." Thinly veiled by the veneer of democratic government, nine years of US "nation-building" in Afghanistan has resulted in a vast network of secret bases from where the CIA's finest psychopaths direct the horrific brutalization of humans in torture centers that make Guantanamo seem like a beach resort. We don't get to hear much of the Afghans' side of the story, but the news that more US soldiers based there committed suicide than were killed by "the enemy", in 2009 alone, is testimony to the living nightmare Afghanistan has become.

2010 opened with a UN investigation confirming that US troops had dragged eight sleeping children from their beds one night late December, handcuffed some of them, then shot them all dead. It's a shocking case but sadly not likely to be unique as countless raids on terrified villages are now a nightly occurrence in Afghanistan. The youngest was 11 years old. Before we could catch our breath, The New York Times followed up with an account of US soldiers throwing chocolate from their convoy to excited children in the street. A crowd had gathered by the time one of the soldiers thought it would be funny to lob a live grenade along with the chocolate. 4 children were killed, scores maimed.

At least under Emperor Bush II, the invaders pretended they understood that deliberately targeting civilians was wrong. That's all changed under Emperor No-Change: the order now is kill-everyone-in-sight. In just one week mid-January, US and NATO forces were deployed to "pacify the natives" by opening fire with their "Jesus guns" on two separate demonstrations by unarmed Afghans, while Predator drones fired missiles into a crowd of "suspects" at a third demonstration. American vengeance against the Taliban for 9/11 has bred American vengeance against Afghans for daring to resist.

We were not surprised to learn that these conscienceless drones were first pioneered in Israel and tested on Palestinian refugees in the early 1980s. Today Israel trains other countries' prospective drone operators in this hi-tech 'art' form: German soldiers are the latest clients to receive instructions from the masters, after which they will assist their British and American counterparts to terrorize innocent Afghans.

Stalking the horror in Afghanistan is the hidden hand of western military-intelligence moving the pieces around the board as dictated by the pulse of geo-politics:

One year on since he covertly invaded Pakistan, Barack the Barbarian ordered remote-controlled assassinations be escalated this month, resulting in a record 123 innocents being blown up in at least 12 CIA drone attacks. That number can likely be multiplied several times as the published stats didn't bother with all those murdered as "insurgents". A worrying development for Afghans is the deployment of multiple drones simultaneously: in one reported incident 17 missiles were fired within minutes by 8 drones. The New York Times reported "10 militants" killed during this turkey-shoot. We don't believe you. At this rate, the US is well on the way to breaking last year's 700 civilians strafed in at least 44 distinct drone attacks.

The local henchmen (Pakistan's government) want in on the action, convincing the US to donate them some drones and demonstrating their "good faith" by sending fighter jets to assist the Saudis in murdering Yemeni villagers. Pakistan's social and physical infrastructure continues to decay at an alarming rate, with widespread power shortages coming in the middle of a freezing winter and a Justice of its Supreme Court castigating Pakistani intelligence for overseeing "a reign of terror like Gestapo [where] anyone can just barge into someone's house to pick anyone."

After lying through its teeth throughout 2009, the US government has admitted that notorious rogue armies Blackwater and Dyncrop are operating inside Pakistan. Over 600 people have been blown up or gunned down in the last three months of 2009; the pace has quickened this year with horror after horror terrorizing Pakistan's cities.

Obama's insistence that Americans "look to the future" regarding whether or not to prosecute Bush administration officials' sanction of torture and his posturing about closing Guantanamo Gulag were brought into sharp relief this month by a White House spokeman's confirmation that Cheney's Executive Assassinations death squad is alive and kicking, only now US citizens are fair game too. Glen Greenwald explains that "American citizens are now being placed on a secret "hit list" of people whom the President has personally authorized to be killed."

In a stunning example of how ponerised the US has become, an American neuroscientist was convicted of attempted murder and sentenced to 20 years imprisonment by a jury in New York, based on evidence provided by her torturers at the Bagram detention center in Afghanistan. Aafia Siddiqui was alleged to have been arrested by Afghan security forces in 2008. Documents containing formulas for explosives and chemical weapons along with notes referring to "mass-casualty attacks" in New York were found in her handbag. She was also charged with being a member of al Qaeda. During one of her interrogations (torture sessions), she's supposed to have fired a rifle at "US agents". There was no forensic evidence the rifle alleged to have been used was ever fired. Furthermore, none of the agents were shot, although she was. The kangaroo court prevented her from speaking, and for good reason. Dr Siddiqui had in fact been detained and tortured in Bagram Gulag since 2003. Her parting words to the courtroom as the verdict was delivered: "This is a verdict coming from Israel, not America."

Barack may have promised to end "the war in Iraq", but until he addresses the cancers spreading like wildfire and the snowballing infant mortality rate, he is personally responsible for the continuing genocide of the Iraqi people. The Iraqi government, although itself deformed at birth, is at least growing some backbone by suing the US and Britain for their barbaric use of depleted uranium bombs. It also made a start at clamping down on Blackwater operations, but by the looks of events in Iraq this month, it has its work cut out. There were car bombings in the cities of Najaf, Samarra and Karbala, while a series of coordinated explosions murdered over 120 people in one week in Baghdad. Expect a lot more false-flag terror from the "counter-insurgency specialists" seeking to pit Sunni against Shia against Kurd in the run-up to elections in March. Obama is certainly expecting trouble: the US is again breaking the terms of its Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA) with Iraq by deploying 21,000 troops to "prevent possible Kurd-Arab tension" in Kirkuk and Mosul, where no such "Kurd-Arab tensions" exist.

Remember the infamous photograph of the hooded detainee forced to stand Christ-like on a box with electrodes attached to each hand? In his testimony to the War Crimes Commission in Malaysia in 2007, Professor Ali Shalal recounted his first interrogation session at the hands of Israeli and American agents at Abu Ghraib in 2003:
The first question they asked me was, "Are you a Sunni or Shiia?" I answered that this is the first time I have been asked this question in my life. I was surprised by this question, as in Iraq there is no such distinction or difference. The American interrogator replied that I must answer directly the questions and not to reply outside the question. He then said that in Iraq there are Sunnis, Shiias and Kurds.
It's long been a goal of Zionism to break Iraq into three warring sub-units, so it's interesting to note that besides accusing him of being a member of the Iraqi resistance, Professor Shalal's torturers formally charged him with the "offence" of being "anti-Zionist and Anti-Semitic."

Blair's legacy

It's well known that NeoConservatives in the US transplanted Zionism's goal of splintering Iraq into American foreign policy long before 9/11. Over in the UK the Chilcot Iraq War Inquiry, besides throwing softballs to Tony Blair in a 6-hour "grilling" , revealed that the US and UK conspired before 9/11 to instigate an uprising against Saddam's regime by promising dissenters "aid" (persumably of the military kind), oil contracts, debt cancellations and trade deals once he had been removed from power. All in the name of Iraq "rejoining the international community", the same euphemism used today to instigate an uprising against Ahmadinejad and isolate Iran from the international community. Of course, once 9/11 happened, that coup plan against Saddam evaporated. The mission was now to totally decimate Iraqi society, to wipe its collective memory, then let it subsist as a weak vassal state whose resources were ripe for plundering and which would no longer present a threat to Israeli regional hegemony.

The purpose of the Inquiry was to bury the crime under an avalanche of legalistic nitpicking. Just as Blair was to face the media circus, the government raised the terror guage to "severe" and Lord Hutton, who chaired that other recent British whitewash, discreetly placed all the files on whistleblower Dr. David Kelly's post mortem under lock and key for 70 years.

"I have no regrets" were Blair's parting words to the Chilcot Inquiry. And why should he? He doesn't know what regret means; he is a psychopath after all. He wasn't the only technocrat with a pathological worldview to grace the Inquiry: Simon McDonald, Gordon Brown's chief foreign policy adviser, said British companies had "done pretty well" in a recent auction of Iraqi oil rights and that Britain had "privileged access" to prime minister al-Maliki's government. And no wonder! You obliterated that country's sovereignty, then installed a puppet regime that does your bidding. The sheer gall of the British government past and present to use this public inquiry into the legality of the invasion to gloat over the riches plundered from the people of Iraq while millions were murdered, millions driven from their homes, whole generations traumatised from the horror of seeing British planes bomb their loved ones to pieces, British soldiers rape their women, British soldiers beat their children, British soldiers torture their grandmothers ad nauseum. All this will take an eternity to heal.

The British regime owes Iraqis a debt it can never repay. It has long operated beyond the bounds of normal humanity, saturated by psychopaths with no conscience towards the well-being of neither its own subjects nor its conquered subjects. Of the three main power centers comprising the Axis of Evil, the UK is the eldest and largely responsible for creating the other two. The most spied-on country in the world is extending the domestic war zone from its Irish laboratory to the "mainland", with drones circling overhead and soldiers soon patrolling its streets on a regular basis.

Just as the invasion and mass genocide of Iraqis was based on lies, so too was the Swine Flu mass vaccination program based on lies. It's become clear that the vaccines being pushed on populations were more dangerous than the flu itself. In the US, where 61 million people took the shot, total swine flu deaths for 2009 were far lower than the number of deaths from regular seasonal flu. Around 20% of the 11,000 thousand, according to the Center for Disease Control's own stats, died after having the shot. The trail of destruction grows by the day: there are horror stories of pregnant women suffering miscarriages following their vaccination, a girl in England left blind by taking Tamiflu and a case of acute disseminated encephalomyelitis resulting in brain lesions in a boy in China.

Dr. Wolfgang Wodarg, the chair of the Health Committee in The European Council, calls the Swine Flu pandemic "one of the greatest medical scandals of the century" and estimates that European countries have spent €2 billion on emergency prepardedness alone (that is, excluding the billions spent on the actual vaccines), squandering their meagre health budgets, to combat a public health emergency that simply did not exist:
"The governments have sealed contracts with vaccine producers where they secure orders in advance and take upon themselves almost all the responsibility. In this way the producers of vaccines are sure of enormous gains without having any financial risks. So they just wait, until WHO says "pandemic" and activate the contracts."

Investigations by the Council of Europe and the European Parliament have acknowledged a conspiracy involving Big Pharma and the WHO, while some of those responsible for promoting the hysteria are now backtracking, admitting that swine flu was "oversold." Calling it a false pandemic, Dr. Wodarg explained that the leading drug companies placed "their people" in the "cogs" of the WHO and other influential organisations. Wodarg also exposed how "The vaccine developed by Novartis was produced in a bioreactor from cancerous cells, a technique that had never been used until now." Though careful to criticise the scam within the context of "gross mismanagement", this very public exposure of a "massive operation of disinformation" and an "organised panic" appears to have neutered the push towards compulsory vaccinations. Governments are scrapping their orders for more vaccines. For now. But what to with the millions of unused vaccines? Why, sell them to poor countries of course!

Simon Jenkins wrote in The Guardian that "Swine flu was as elusive as WMD; the real threat is mad scientist syndrome." He's probably more right than he knows:
This is why people are ever more sceptical of scientists. Why should they believe what "experts" say when they can be so wrong and with such impunity? Weapons of mass destruction, lethal viruses, nuclear radiation, global warming ... why should we believe a word of it? And it is a short step from don't believe to don't care.
The full impact of this scam has yet to unfold. Many peoples' immune systems are now more compromised than they were before. The relentless propaganda to foist dangerous vaccines has not let up. The H1N1 campaign may have fallen by the wayside, but the medical-pharmaceutical complex has other weapons in its arsenal, chief among them the ability to control what gets published in scientific journals. People cannot be allowed to know that real pandemics like autism are largely the result of thimerasol in vaccines. Combined with the cummulative effect of toxic overload from our food supply and environment, the next virus really could be the straw that results in mass casualties. By then folks might be too complacent to care. In the meantime, the swine scam has left behind dormant mass vaccination programs in its wake to be activated at a time of the Pathocracy's choosing.

Climategate Redux

Lies are like dams holding back the waters of truth. If a dam has a crack or a small hole, the pressure from the waters will soon enlarge them, making it ever more difficult to repair the damage. In time the dam may well collapse.

This is what is happening to the Global Warming fairy tale. The leaked emails that gave us Climategate have been followed by further inconvenient truths. It's emerged that the big-wig scientists behind the 2007 Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) report, which alarmingly claimed that the Himalayan glaciers could vanish by 2035, have admitted that the claim was taken from a World Wildlife Fund (WWF) document, which in turn was based on an article in the New Scientist magazine, published eight years before the IPCC's 2007 report. The 1999 New Scientist article was itself based on a short telephone interview with Syed Hasnain, a little-known Indian scientist then stationed at Jawaharlal Nehru University in Delhi. And guess what? Hasnain has since admitted that his claim about the Himalayan glaciers was "speculation"; it was not supported by any formal research and besides, he had only been referring to a portion of the glaciers. Sorry 'bout the confusion folks!

This 2007 IPCC report is the now infamous document over which the CRU Climategate scientists in England and the US, in order to preempt freedom of information requests to turn over files that would have exposed how they manipulated the facts around the theory, had sent one another emails discussing the destruction of their communication records concerning dodgy data given to the IPCC. Today Dr "Speculation" Hasnain leads the glacier research team at an Indian environmental think-tank run by Dr. Rajendra Pachauri, the head of the IPCC. (That's how far you'll get on the Climate Science gravy train if you just let your imagination compensate for your incompetence.)

So why would they throw all scientific rigor out the window? F. William Engdahl observes that this glacier scare was a major selling point for the IPCC agenda, given that meltdown of the Himalayas implies massive flooding in India, China, indeed the entire region surrounding the Tibetan Plateau. And exploit the selling point they did! You see, the company at which Dr. Pachauri is director-general and Dr. Hasnain is a senior member of staff, the Delhi-based Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), has won a substantial share of a $500,000 grant from one of America's leading 'charities', the Carnegie Corporation, along with a share in a €3 million study funded by the EU, awarded largely thanks to Dr. Hasnain's snowballing glacial speculation. This appears to be one of the main ways in which big government and big corporations buy off scientists. Under the cover of charities, NGOs, think-tanks and research groups, they offer large grants for the 'right type' of research. This naturally selects the 'right scientists and researchers' who are willing to prostitute science in the name of 'man-made global warming.'

It's obvious that an agenda of personal interests and not science had to be behind the 2007 IPCC report when we consider the serious math and factual errors it contains. How can Himalayan glaciers shrink from 500,000 to 100,000 square kilometers, when there are only 33,000 square kilometers of Himalayan glaciers?! It specifically states that the Pindari Glacier shrank by 2,840 meters in 120 years at a rate of 135.2 meters per year, when the real rate is only 23.5 meters per year.

Furthermore, Dr. Murari Lal, the coordinating lead author of the report's chapter on Asia, has admitted that the glacier claim was only included in the report to heap political pressure on world leaders. In his words,
"It related to several countries in this region and their water sources. We thought that if we can highlight it, it will impact policy-makers and politicians and encourage them to take some concrete action.

"It had importance for the region, so we thought we should put it in."
Except that it wasn't true, Dr. Lal. Oh, we forget - you guys don't care about that. The IPCC report goes on to incorrecty state that 55% of the Netherlands lies below sea level, when only 26% of the Netherlands is really below sea level. And then there is "Amazongate"!
The IPCC made a prominent claim in its 2007 report, again citing the WWF as its authority, that climate change could endanger "up to 40 per cent" of the Amazon rainforest - as iconic to warmists as those Himalayan glaciers and polar bears. This WWF report, it turned out, was co-authored by Andy Rowell, an anti-smoking and food safety campaigner who has worked for WWF and Greenpeace, and contributed pieces to Britain's two most committed environmentalist newspapers. Rowell and his co-author claimed their findings were based on an article in Nature. But the focus of that piece, it emerges, was not global warming at all but the effects of logging.
If Climategate and Glaciergate are strikes one and two for climate science, here comes strike three:

Computer programmer E. Michael Smith and meteorologist Joseph D'Aleo have investigated the manipulations of data at the NASA Goddard Science and Space Institute at Columbia University in New York and the NOAA National Climate Data Center in Ashville, North Carolina. What they found is that the ground-based data-gathering stations around the world used for temperature data analysis have been systematically cherry-picked by ignoring rural and high altitude stations and relying solely on stations located in urban and coastal areas; in this way editing out 75% of the data from stations used before the 1990s. Since cities and coastal areas are naturally warmer, the resulting numbers give the impression that the globe has been warming in the last decades as compared to previous decades. Notice that the East Anglia Institute which was at the center of Climategate is fed data from two US agencies, NASA and NOAA, so Smith and D'Aleo's research would place "ground-zero" for the fraud of global warming with these US government agencies. Undeterred, NASA continue to assure us that the last decade was the warmest ever!

By the way, the host of the above show and founder of the Weather Channel, John Coleman, is doing his part in the fight for the truth and is filing a lawsuit against Al Gore and his cohorts for perpetrating "the greatest scam in history", the fraud of global warming. Hats off to John.

What we find most amusing - but also disturbing - is how the warmists seek refuge in denial, the very term they label the non-believers with! They are now attributing the plummeting temperatures to "natural variability" and arguing that a sudden and unexplained drop in the amount of water vapor present in the upper atmosphere almost a decade ago has substantially slowed the rate of warming. Their latest sound bite blames the influence of La Nina for disturbing their computer model trends of how the weather should be.

Check out these bizarre comments from Doug Smith, a climate 'expert' at the UK's Met Office:
The hottest year on record was 1998 and some people have argued that if global warming is really taking place, we should have had an even warmer year since then. We haven't, I admit. And yes, the weather is absolutely terrible at present. However, I am sure things will change - and we won't have to wait long either... [O]ur computer models indicate that this year is more likely than not to be the hottest on record. Even if it isn't, I am quite sure a record breaker will still occur in the next few years.
It's as if Mr. Smith wants global warming so badly that he has no option but to flee into delusion. Now witness how John Hirst, the UK's "Top Meteorologist", insists that his predictions of warmer weather and milder winters are essentially correct in spite of the 'chilling' evidence.


The UK's Guardian newspaper has long been a propaganda outlet for the mad tea party of man-made global warming. It's delusional reporting just keeps getting whackier with each fresh scandalous revelation. It published an article warning us to "get ready for a seven-foot sea level rise" as a result of ice sheets melting, completely ignoring the fact that sea levels are not rising; if anything, they are actually falling!

Not all is lost for the world of science though. Professor Mojib Latif, a member of the IPCC, had predicted the new cooling trend in a paper published in 2008. Similarly, the US National Snow and Ice Data Center in Colorado admist that Arctic summer sea ice has increased by 409,000 square miles, or 26 per cent, since 2007. "What about the polar bears?!" they shriek. Nope, their numbers are increasing to the point where they are becoming a problem for residents in Canada.

Exopolitics goes mainstream

As the frequency of UFO sightings and related high strangeness factor steadily increases each month [view Our Hanted Planet here for a listing of sightings, photographs and videos], we noticed a significant spike in mainstream media articles about "extra-terrestrial" visitors. From one source in particular: the British Daily Telegraph. Covering the British Royal Society conference on "The detection of extra-terrestrial life", The Telegraph's articles surprisingly refrained from the stereotypical little-green-men-from-Mars caricatures usually deployed to ridicule the millions of UFO witnesses, and instead addressed some of the issues fairly intelligently by citing the research of astronomers and physicists.

Mr Marek Kukula, public astronomer at the Royal Observatory in Greenwich, said: "Part of me is with the enthusiasts and I would like us to try to make proactive contact with a wiser, more peaceful civilisation."

But he warned: "We might like to assume that if there is intelligent life out there it is wise and benevolent, but of course we have no evidence for this.

"Given the consequences of contact may not be what we initially hoped for, then we need governments and the UN to get involved in any discussions."
The following article was published in November. We couldn't help but notice that the same image of bug-eyed "Grey" in front of what appears to be a static TV screen was used in the above article warning that our cosmic neighbours might not come in peace:

Aliens from outer space are already among us on earth, say Bulgarian government scientists who claim they are already in contact with extraterrestrial life.

Work on deciphering a complex set of symbols sent to them is underway, scientists from the country's Space Research Institute said.

They claim aliens are currently answering 30 questions posed to them.

Lachezar Filipov, deputy director of the Space Research Institute of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, confirmed the research.

He said the centre's researchers were analysing 150 crop circles from around the world, which they believe answer the questions.

"Aliens are currently all around us, and are watching us all the time," Mr Filipov told Bulgarian media.
Hmmm, has The Telegraph been selected for the next phase of controlled disclosure? A second Telegraph article was published on the same day:

Extra-terrestrials might not only resemble us but have our foibles, such as greed, violence and a tendency to exploit others' resources, claims Professor Conway Morris.

They could come in peace but also be searching for somewhere to live, and to help themselves to water, minerals and fuel he is due to tell a conference at the Royal Society, in London.

The Telegraph wasn't alone in covering this conference. A Reuters article asked 'Are we alone? We may soon find out' with an accompanying image from the Independence Day movie.
"Indeed, we live in very exciting times," said [astronomer and president of the Royal Society Martin Rees].

And judging by the 250 eminent scientific minds who have gathered in London to attend a Royal Society conference on the "The detection of extra-terrestrial life," he is not the only enthusiast.

The meeting, which ends on Tuesday, is the first in the Royal Society's 350-year history to discuss alien life forms.

Piercing the veil

Ponerized power thrives in darkness. By its very nature it needs lies, secrets and half-truths to achieve its goals. Most people with conscience assume all others share it too. This ironically prevents them from reaching the logical conclusion: the well-being of humanity is of no concern to those that are ruled entirely by selfishness, and who are prepared to destroy all others to accomplish their objectives. By their fruits ye shall know them.

The invasion of Haiti illustrates this on a larger scale. As difficult as it might be to accept that the US government would profit from of the misfortune of Haitians - nevermind that it would induce an earthquake to bring about that misfortune - this is what its actions 'on the ground' are telling us.

Because ascribing conscience to conscienceless inhumane actions makes no sense, and because these actions result in tragedy and deep suffering, most people find themselves mired in apathy and a feeling of powerlessness. If they do fight for something, they invariably direct their energies towards fruitless causes created by the very people who are lying to us. Consider the global warming fraud. People of good will really bought into it, and it's only now that Nature itself has presented a wake-up call that they have a chance to see through the lies.

There is hope. Each tiny puncture in the veil lets through a ray of light, which changes the quality of the whole of what we can see. This is an exponential learning process; as more leaks occur, our eyesight improves and so do our chances of piercing the veil again and again until eventually the whole edifice of lies becomes so weakened that it faces imminent collapse.

The way is open; let's do it.
