INSIDE SURVEILLANCE

There appears to be an historical sharing of intelligence between the CIA and MOSSAD, from biowarfare to surveillance technology, though this alliance may be somewhat factional and very far from "cosy." One category of this shared intelligence comes under the little known name of PROMIS (Prosecutor’s Management Information System ) developed by former employees of the National Security Agency (NSA). Its purpose was to track individuals pursued or prosecuted by the U.S. Justice Department by interfacing with other databases. Further modifications took place over the years via stolen copies and a complex web of interested parties with heavy links to chemical and bio-weaponry production.

According to an Israeli operative Ari Ben- Menashe of the Israeli Defence Force (IDF) he had been personally involved in a multi-billion dollar arms deal between Iraq/Iran the purpose of which was to exacerbate tensions between the two countries. In 1987 Ben-Menashe claims to have attended a meeting in Tel Aviv where the CIA, NSA and the Defence Intelligence Agency (DIA) all used PROMIS and gave it to Israeli Intelligence. He further described that American operators had the key to back door access modifications carried out on now expanding bootleg versions of PROMIS. However, the most intriguing sign of "shared value interests" comes from Ben Menashe’s insistence that during the Reagan administration some officials had hoped to use Israelis to sell PROMIS to police and intelligence agencies globally.

In Ari Ben-Menashe’s memoir called Profits of War (1992) he quotes Rafi Eitan the anti-terrorist advisor to Israel’s Prime minister during the eighties: "We can use this program to stamp out terrorism by keeping track of everyone. But not only that we can find out what our enemies know too." This allowed Israelis to enter via a "back door" into any other intelligence agency network birthed initially by the NSA and no doubt being perfected still further within its catacombs. It is not a little disturbing to think that a Spy Vs Spy scenario is essentially the mainstay of global politics fused together with a thousand different secret societies, secret cults and shadow government factions vying for supremacy. The Bush Administration and the Likud party may well be doing the Happy Dance together, though it remains to be seen who is leading who.

On December 13, 2001 Executive Intelligence Review reported on the suspicion that Prime Minister Ariel Sharon had "dispatched special operations teams into North America… Portions of the funds garnered from the illegal operations according top sources, are funnelled to offshore bank accounts of Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon. Some of these dirty funds were reportedly diverted to Sharon’s election campaigns. This Israeli mafia apparatus receives technical support with major American telephone companies and government law enforcement agencies."

It is evident that telecommunications technology is part and parcel of Israeli business and covert operations which has been grafted onto a fertile ground of socio-cultural programming where Israel’s Statehood and Jewish victimisation have become an industry which then acts as shield to applying any kind of objectivity and critical analysis to Israel’s role in global terrorism.

If we keep in mind the details of PROMIS and other hybrid spy systems of monitoring and surveillance utilized by Israel, it comes as no surprise that that corporate America and its media is effectively controlled from top to bottom by Zionist influences heavily sprinkled with MOSSAD agents in every sector of American life. Not only that, but the advanced PROMIS system is highly likely being used to eavesdrop on ordinary Americans and those who have the merest whisper of a "terrorist" connection as part of the "above board" U.S./Israeli joint intelligence venture. For example, Israeli company Amdocs Inc. a sub-contractor for billing and directory services straddling 90% of American phone companies, is Israeli owned and already has a black spot on its bill by being implicated in the leaking of police phone data which in turn led to the collapse of an investigation into drug and credit card fraud – also with Israeli connections. It just so happens that Amdocs recently won a major deal with American communications giant AT&T, one of the world leaders in data and voice communications with an annual turnover of $37 billion and serving over
40 million private clients. Additional deals are also expected.

Another: Israeli owned Comverse Infosystems also has a cloud of suspicion hanging over its business dealings where versions of PROMIS may have surfaced within its applications. But they are spear-heading a drive in which there are numerous other companies and corporations - most notably in the wireless and telecommunications business - surging ahead with lucrative trade deals and major investments from U.S. companies since 9/11. What is more, according to the American-Israel Chamber of Commerce South region E-newsletter: "there has been a surge in demand for Israeli security products and expertise since the September 11th attacks. From gas masks to anthrax drugs to security training centers and information security, Israeli companies are taking advantage of the expertise they’ve developed over the years to respond to this world-wide crisis."

I’m sure they are. Taking advantage of a situation seems to be a calling card in Israel that is repeated time and time again. Evidence has been found that Israel may have managed to slip agents into the telephone systems at the highest levels of U.S. Government. In light of the above this is not the most shocking revelation.

This expertise, we remind you, is a consequence of Israel being subsidized by the United States.

To bolster this "alliance" with a suitable propaganda drive the now former chief of MOSSAD Efrayim Halevi, on 26 June 2002 addressed a closed meeting of the NATO Council in Brussels. All 19 NATO members took part in the meeting. In his opening sentence he sets the agenda and assumption that Israel is the victim rather than the outright aggressor: "At our meeting today which is designed to review the main elements in our strategic assessment of the threats to Israel and to freedom-seeking nations of the world." The chief also makes the relationship between terrorism and the USA as the victim and innocent party, priming his audience as a parish priest would his village sinners. He explicitly states that 9/11 was a "declaration of third World War" in which of course Israel and the U.S. are on the side of the righteous and just, rather than the instigators of such a war. He further stresses the attack by spectral terrorist forces "conducted against free societies with weapons and strategies not known till now. This is a war that takes no notice of the rules of war and international legal norms." And of course, behind this transparent rhetoric lies the minor point that no so called democracy has ever upheld such "rules" due to the fact that they do not exist. And coming from the mouth of a MOSSAD director it is the most abhorrent form of hypocrisy possible.

Mr Halevi no doubt dazzled his audience further with the comparability of his Zionist/ neo-con manipulations by attempting to implant in the minds of these NATO lambs that all Arabs are terrorists and all those not with Israel are against Israel; terrorist sympathizers and enemies of a singular State, where, in order to confront this global problem, one must join hands with Israel - that leading light of conflict resolution - and embark on a crusade against a foe to end all foes. After a simplistic warning of the perils of Islam he then lays the ground work for the final denouement:

"If violent minority groups are not stopped – and in many cases totally wiped out – then the saying "nothing succeeds like success" is likely to symbolize a terrible threat to the basic fabric of the countries that are NATO members and which Muslim countries are developing and growing in number and influence while preserving individual cultures and identities."

The above is extraordinary in its exploitation of a U.S./Israel created global crisis with a bombshell of eliminating what he sees as "violent minority groups" which would no doubt mean Palestinian peoples i.e. terrorist, i.e. Al-Qaeda. These "terrorist" attacks may be nothing more than CIA/MOSSAD intelligence agencies fulfilling their global objectives. The director then implants the link between wiping out terrorism and the "growing and developing" of Muslim communities within NATO countries by the implication of crackdowns on suspected terrorists ending with a final and unconvincing sop to cultural diversity. Or, did he mean that individual cultures and identities must also be totally wiped out? The ambiguous tone of his speech is left behind in the following paragraph where he essentially calls for a free-for-all, hot on the heels of his declaration of moderation and democratic freedoms:

Given this complicated situation, we must give great weight in our strategic assessment to the "forms of warfare" that we shall use in coming months and years. We see terror as a whole and the suicide attacks in particular as a "form of warfare" that must be outlawed and prohibited by international law. All support for these actions, or permit to carry them out, must be outlawed in the clearest possible way. The dispatchers, movements, states, and entities involved in actions of this kind, or those encouraging them, whether in a specific or implicit way, must be placed outside the pale of law and justice. Such actions will not only do a service to a country like Israel, but will also, as previously hinted, preserve free societies in Europe, Asia, the American continent, and in every other place.

Certainly we suspect that the preservation of the "free societies in Europe and Asia" will only be free insofar as they toe the line of United States/Israeli Imperialism. After all, if the individual cultures of Europe are seen as opposed to the aims of Israel, they will certainly be put on the list of "minority groups" to be "wiped out," perhaps even by Ethnic Specific Weapons.

Bush and Halevi obviously have the same script writer. These "forms of warfare" will no doubt include an array of non-lethal and PSYOPS weaponry which will be used against those who are merely seen to be "encouraging" such actions "whether in a specific or implicit way. In other words, it’s open season against those who may not agree with him. We find the same dynamic with Bush and his Attorney General John Ashcroft where the interpretation of "terrorist" takes on the rigid doctrine of a Baptist/Protestant fundamentalist ideology. Halevi is spouting the same tired propaganda as the head of an intelligence agency whose only remit is to foment war, further the destruction of Arab peoples and all those who oppose their objectives - even Europeans who may see the situation differently.

The chief then tells the council that supporters of any ideology that is not "with" the United States and Israel" - whether it is encouragement that is specific or only implicit - must be placed outside the pale of law and justice." That means that any German, any Frenchman, any Pole, Chinese, or any other person or persons in any other country, becomes a "legal target" for the vigilante justice of Israel and the United States. This is even more frighteningly stated in a later passage where he says that the war against terror "does not fit in with the political agenda" where "Statehood and the right of sovereignty must be conditional on appropriate behaviour." That is to say that any country in the world only has the right to its own sovereignty if it supports the agenda of the United States and Israel. And who is the arbiter of this "appropriate behaviour"? Israel? On its human rights record alone this would be wholly unacceptable. The well-worn script is suggesting that law and justice and the political process, such as it is, be done away with in order to round up those suspected of terrorism or those having an opinion different to the oligarchies of America and Israel. This would most certainly be of great "service" to Israel as it would see a wholesale persecution of Arabic peoples, the colonisation of more Arabic countries under the "war on terrorism" and the further implementation of controls designed to extinguish freedoms and the right to dissent, so favoured by the present U.S. administration. It is no wonder that this occupying force is suckling at the teat of its imperial mother.

It is also evident that the U.S. army is mirroring the exact same torture and oppression upon the Iraqi citizens that the Israeli military had been carrying out on Palestinian people for decades. Indeed, the interrogation tactics bear an uncanny likeness to those favoured by MOSSAD. A report in Chicago’s Daily Star by Ali Abunimah confirms that "the head of the American defense contracting firm implicated in the torture of Iraqis at Abu Ghraib prison has close ties to Israel and visited an Israeli "anti-terror" training camp in the occupied West Bank earlier this year."

Washington may have secured security contracts in exchange for interrogation tactics, though this is likely to have been only one in a multitude of advantages already alluded to. According to a recent Red Cross Report , 90% of Iraqi prisoners are now "held in error", and we are supposed to be outraged at this shocking revelation never before practiced under the sanctity of dear old Uncle Sam? It IS shocking in its inhumanity yet wholly predictable as an expression of the "Art" of War and propaganda. In truth, practices such as these have been a tried and trusted formula by intelligence agencies the world over for a very long time. One example, is the recent psyop of the murder of the so called telecommunications "freelancer" and possible MOSSAD pawn/agent Nick Berg. The whole sickening affair seemed once again to have the sticky fingers of Israeli and American intelligence all over it.

The MOSSAD chief is part of a chain of command that is sourced from exactly the same mentality. It reaches down to the those who initiate torture and up to the pleasant surroundings of a NATO pedestal in which he has placed himself, singing the same atonal tune, dressed up in suits, handshakes and cynical smiles. This man knows only too well that these events were manufactured and engineered to fulfil an objective for Israel to create a war in which America would have the "justification" to invade Iraq and ride out against the Arab nations once and for all. This speech is wholly designed to elicit the right to arbitrate the expansion and implementation of U.S./Israeli controls within Europe by generating fear and its knee-jerk reactions dependant on the exacerbation of this threat. With more and more counterterrorism operations and the following attacks, whether by conscious or unconscious agents within Al-Qaeda or intelligence agencies quickening the process themselves, the end result is a rapid implementation of further draconian laws based upon the willingness of the people to give their freedoms away. The possibility of a Natural State of Psychopathy existing within a large proportion of Israeli and American societies, indeed, as the foundational notion of our so-called developed world, means that deception becomes an easy commodity in an essentially entropic existence where subjectivity is the only map for reality.

What objectives has Israel set herself upon this map via the tentacles of MOSSAD and the fulfilment of its maxim: "By Deception Thou Shalt do War"? Perhaps it would be useful here to remind ourselves of the nature of MOSSAD – The Institute for Intelligence and Special Tasks.


DOUBLE JEAPORDY


MOSSAD (Hebrew for "institute") was created on 1 April 1951 by the then Prime Minister David Ben Gurion. Intelligence collection, covert operations and counter terrorism make up the driving force of its activities. Its focus is obviously directed towards Arab nations though all worldwide organizations fall under its influence. MOSSAD agents are active in all countries and organizations it considers of strategic importance to its national, ideological and economic interests. (This also includes the United Nations which seems to be tossed from one intelligence agency to the next according to what vote or veto is required). Its headquarters are based in Tel Aviv with a staff numbering around 1200 with Meir Dagan currently acting as Director. There are officially eight departments including:

*Collections Dept. – Espionage Operations
*Political Action and Liason Dept. – With "friendly" foreign intelligence agencies where normal diplomatic relations are not officially recognized.
*Special Operations Division – Also known as Metsada involving assassinations, PSYOPS operations, sabotage, paramilitary etc.
*LAP (Lohamah Psichologit) Dept. – PSYOPS, propaganda and general deception.
* Research Dept. – Round the clock intelligence collation/production which is organized into 15 geographically specialized sections including the USA, Canada and Western Europe, Latin America, Former Soviet Union, China Africa, the Maghreb, Libya, Iraq, Iran, Jordan, Syria, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. A "nuclear" desk and special weapons are also included.
*Technology Dept. – advanced technology development for MOSSAD operations.

Needless to say, the global intelligence services have never had the best interests of humanity at heart and MOSSAD is no different, though its willingness to place the world on a apocalyptic chopping block may eventually outstrip even its own expertise in deception living up to their maxim in ways unforeseen. However, that is not to say they are not making a valiant attempt to live up to some of the Machiavellian principles so favoured by Bush’s advisor Karl Rove. Spying on their star-spangled "supporter" and any other countries deemed advantageous has been taking place for a considerable time.

Victor Ostrovsky’s By Way of Deception (1990) (a book Jewish lobbyists managed to get banned from most retail outlets except for Amazon.com) has a passage regarding MOSSAD local assistants or sayanim operating in western countries (pp. 86-9):

[…]...the sayanim, a unique and important part of the Mossad's operation. Sayanim assistants must be 100 percent Jewish. They live abroad, and though they are not Israeli citizens, many are reached through their relatives in Israel. An Israeli with a relative in England, for example, might be asked to write a letter saying the person bearing the letter represents an organization whose main goal is to help save Jewish people in the diaspora. Could the British relative help in any way?

There are thousands of sayanim around the world. In London alone, there are about 2,000 who are active, and another 5,000 on the list. They fulfill many different roles. A car sayan, for example, running a rental agency, could help the Mossad rent a car without having to complete the usual documentation. An apartment sayan would find accommodation without raising suspicions, a bank sayan could get you money if you needed it in the middle of the night, a doctor sayan would treat a bullet wound without reporting it to the police, and so on. The idea is to have a pool of people available when needed who can provide services but will keep quiet about them out of loyalty to the cause. They are paid only costs. Often the loyalty of sayanim is abused by katsas [directors, supervisors of operations] who take advantage of the available help for their own personal use. There is no way for the sayan to check this.

One thing you know for sure is that even if a Jewish person knows it is the Mossad, he might not agree to work with you, but he won't turn you in. You have at your disposal a non risk recruitment system that actually gives you a pool of millions of Jewish people to tap from outside your own borders. It's much easier to operate with what is available on the spot, and sayanim offer incredible practical support everywhere. But they are never put at risk, nor are they privy to classified information.

[…]Some business sayanim have a bank of 20 operators answering phones, typing letters, faxing messages, all a front for the Mossad. The joke is that 60 percent of the business of those telephone answering companies in Europe comes from the Mossad. They'd fold otherwise.

The one problem with the system is that the Mossad does not seem to care how devastating it could be to the status of the jewish people in the diaspora if it was known [that they are all potential MOSSAD helpers]. [The answer] you get if you ask is: "So what's the worst that could happen to those Jews?' they'd all come to Israel - Great."

[…] the Mossad regards the whole world outside Israel as a target, including Europe and the United States. Most of the Arab countries don't manufacture their own weapons. Most don't have high-level military colleges, for example. If you want to recruit a Syrian diplomat, you don't have to do that in Damascus. You can do it in Paris. If you want data on an Arab missile, you get that in Paris or London or the United States where it is made. You can get less information on Saudi Arabia from the Saudis themselves than you can from the Americans.

And if you want to get to the senior officers, they study in England or the United States. Their pilots train in England, France, and the United States. Their commandos train in Italy and France. You can recruit them there. It's easier and it's less dangerous.

Ran S. also taught his class about "white agents," individuals being recruited, either by covert or direct means, who may or may not know they're working for Israel. They are always non-Arabs and usually more sophisticated in technical knowledge. The prejudice in Israel is that Arabs don't understand technical things. It shows itself in jokes, like the one about the man selling Arab brains for $150 a pound and Jewish brains for $2 a pound. Asked why the Arab brain was so expensive, he says, "Because it's hardly been used." A widely held perception of Arabs in Israel. [Emphases, mine]

A typical example of the use of Sayanim is the recent furore involving the so-called scandal of the "Israeli spy-ring posing as art students story" from Fox News in December 2001. They were said to have sold paintings door to door, turning up at offices and even buildings where federal departments were located, hob-knobbing with federal employees and forming friendships and closer relationships in order to gain access to phone lines for tapping and database infiltration. They were arrested and deported under a haze of embarrassment and for obvious reasons as quietly as possible. True to form the mainstream media allowed the report to die down without too much fuss. Fox News dropped it from its own archives within a short two weeks without any explanation.

The actual source of the story was a Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) draft report from their intelligence division. This was subsequently leaked to the media. The DEA is known to have purchased communications equipment worth around $100 million from Israeli businesses over five years previously which could account for Israeli agents buzzing around the agency as well as a wealth of information on the drug wars which services many CIA operatives and go-betweens. These would be useful bargaining chips for MOSSAD. The report also detailed how the trial led back to many Israel telephone subcontracting companies which were deemed worthy of investigation again leading to the "back door access" software systems, mentioned previously.

What is even more incredible is the little wrinkle of an address where five of the Israeli "art students" were living, namely, at 4220 Sheridan St, Hollywood, Florida. From Mossad and Moving Companies:

Four of the five hijackers that were on AA Flight 11 {Mohammed Atta, Abdulaziz Al-Omari, Walid and wail Al-Shehri] and one of the five hijackers [Marwan Al-Shehhi] from UA Flight 175 had at one time or another also resided in Hollywood, Florida.

Where in Hollywood?

Why, it just happens that Mohammed Atta, the presumed lead hijacker had lived at 3389 Sheridan St. only a few blocks away from the Fake Israeli Art Students! [Le Monde 3/5/02; Reuters 3/5/02; Jane’s Intelligence Digest, 3/15/02; Salon, 5/7/02]

Well, don’t that just beat it all! And to think, Florida Senator Bob Graham was having breakfast with Pakistani ISI chief Mahmoud-Ahmad on the morning of September 11 – the same ISI chief who was later linked to Mohammed Atta by virtue of the fact that he transferred a LOT of money to the guy.

It looks as if Florida is a veritable den of iniquity for the Bush and MOSSAD mafias. What is clear is that it is much more than simply a "failure of intelligence" and the half-baked assertion of monitoring suspected Arab terrorists.

After reports of art students having a good eye for much more than their personal compositions, there came reports of suspicious activities within the high flying world of removal companies. One Urban moving Company had been suspected of being a front for MOSSAD by FBI due to several bizarre events. Five employees of the company had been photographing the ruins of the WTC, dancing, laughing and generally having a raucously enjoyable time on at the sight of such a tragedy. According to eye witness accounts, the employees had been on the roof of the said company and had then transferred themselves to the nearby parking lot in order to continue their festivities while still viewing the rubble of the Twin towers with obvious glee. Sporadic reports continued culminating in a story from ABC news 20/20 on June 21 2002: "Three months later 20/20’s camera’s photographed the inside of Urban Moving and it looked as if the business had been shut down in a big hurry. Cell phones were lying around; office phones were still connected; and the property of his New Jersey home, put it up for sale and returned with his family to Israel."

The U.S. military analysts which seem to be keen to usher in a FEMA flavoured Junta as quickly as possible have also been noticing the degree to which MOSSAD may have been using the U.S. as a Disney World of "false flag" possibilities with or without America’s consent, depending on which "need to know" tier one focuses on. Indeed, 9/11 may have been MOSSAD’s ultimate coup d’état – the final false flag in a long succession of deceptions with the primary objective to lay the blame at the PLO or Arab states whenever possible. Michael Collins Piper from American Free Press:

"In 1982 just when the PLO had abandoned the use of terrorism, the MOSSAD spread disinformation about "terrorist attacks" on Israeli settlements along the northern border in order to justify a full-scale military invasion of Lebanon. Years later, even leading Israeli spokesman such as former Foreign Minister Abba Eban admitted that the reports of "PLO terrorism" had been contrived by the MOSSAD."

False flag operations necessarily involve assassinations. "Under cover" death squad assassinations of Palestinian political figures, including a recent bounty on Arafat, which were subsequently retracted, have played an increasing part in the world wide condemnation of Israel. The recent assassinations of Hamas leaders Sheikh Yassin and Dr. Abdelaziz could well be part of a long term strategy to not only incite revenge filled violence against Israel, but also against the United States. Just as we had a merging together of Osma Bin Laden and Saddam Hussein to serve as another reason for the invasion of Iraq, we can also see a further merging of the PLO and Palestinians as Al-Quaeda to serve another phase in the wholesale eradication of Palestinian rights. (And as I write, an article from the Tehran Times.com reports that a second attempt to kill the new Hamas leader Khaled Meshaal has failed…)

The occupied territories are not the only focus for "targeted killings" as they are euphemistically known. MOSSAD’S Special Operations Dept. or Metsada has been busy across the world with numerous individuals targeted, weaving in and out of the CIA’s zones of influence. As a consequence of this and its general intransigence regarding human rights violations, international support before the 9/11 attacks were significantly waning for Israel. The collusion of the U.S. and Israel in some kind of high level pact to orchestrate a spectacular "shared interest initiative" seems ever more likely. The parallels of 9/11 with Pearl harbour are noteworthy. The Americans knew before hand that the Japanese were going to attack and they were prepared to sacrifice many lives for big business and economic interests. Just as the neo-cons may have known, and indeed oiled the wheels of Israel’s massive deception from a catalogue of evidence, we can see that MOSSAD may have taken on the role of a covert "Japanese fleet" from within, taking their cues from a U.S. executive shadow government guidance system.

Immediately after the attacks U.S. public opinion, shaped by the Jewish dominated media, swung in favour of Israel. The sustained uprisings by Palestinians have been clouded with a manufactured/exacerbated threat of an Islamic Jihad, the reality of which is also responding to the far right patriotic fervour that is infecting societal instincts and becoming the mainstay of rigid belief systems. The attacks do not serve Arab groups interests though they serve Israel’s and America’s interests right across the board, economically, geo-politically, and ideologically. What must also be kept in mind across the whole sorry state of geo-political affairs, are the activities of a Secret Cult extending through the U.S. shadow government, and with extensions throughout the web of a covert world government, its formidable roots lodged within the CIA created via "Operation Paperclip," though this is clearly only one faction jostling for supremacy. There are many players here, with essentially one objective: Power and control which may be based on threads of knowledge that Something Wicked This Way Comes.

With such a feeding frenzy of vested interests operating, where the masses of humanity are very far down on their lists of concerns, if they feature there at all, a note of extreme caution must surely be directed at Israel and its MOSSAD. From such conscious drives to control others there must come an almighty fall where a repeating pattern of aggression will return to the sender, we might say as a process of natural cosmic law. But this time, we may all be in its vacuum. I am reminded again of Victor Ostrovsky who relates an eerie warning sign of one possible future:

The one problem with the system is that the Mossad does not seem to care how devastating it could be to the status of the Jewish people in the diaspora if it was known. The answer you get if you ask is: "So what's the worst that could happen to those Jews?' They'd all come to Israel - Great."

The Star of David has tattooed itself across an unfurling image of white stars on a blue background - fallen stars raining down on all of its society and the world. The MOSSAD may well find itself outmanoeuvred on the global chess board with catastrophic results. In the words of Laura Knight Jadczyk:

"Just imagine what would happen if suddenly all the fingers pointed to Israel and MOSSAD as the masterminds of Global Terrorism?"

...which echoes Israel Shahak:

The Maxim that those who do not learn from history are condemned to repeat it applies to those Jews who refuse to come to terms with the Jewish past: they have become its slaves and are repeating it in Zionist and Israeli policies. The State of Israel now fulfils towards the oppressed peasants of many countries – not only in the Middle East but also far beyond it – a role not unlike that of the Jews in pre-1795 Poland: that of a bailiff to the imperial oppressor. And in typical Machiavellian fashion, those that are experts in deceiving, may themselves be deceived. We may then be finally shocked into seeing just how coldly predatorial this world has become and how Israel and the U.S. are the driving force in a global machine that is wholly out of control.

Re'ut-Sadaka Jewish Arab Youth Movement for Peace, Israel

Re'ut-Sadaka was started in 1982 by a group of young Israeli Jews and Arabs between the ages of 14-18 years. Re'ut developed in response to the growing hatred, hostility and fear between the Palestinians and the Jews. The aim was to enable the two coexisting cultures in Israel to learn to live together through respecting what is different while building on what is common to them all. Some people recognised the need for peaceful coexistence and reacted to the growing hatred by showing their willingness to meet members of the other culture, to get to know them better and to learn to cooperate with them. Now there are 10 such groups scattered around the country.

Taayush

We -- Arab and Jewish citizens of Israel -- live surrounded by walls and barbed wire: the walls of segregation, racism, and discrimination between Jews and Arabs within Israel; the walls of closure and siege encircling the Palestinians in the occupied West Bank and Gaza Strip; and the wall of war surrounding all inhabitants of Israel, so long as Israel remains an armed fortress in the heart of the Middle East. In the fall of 2000 we joined together to form "Ta'ayush" (Arabic for "life in common"), a grassroots movement of Arabs and Jews working to break down the walls of racism and segregation by constructing a true Arab-Jewish partnership. A future of equality, justice and peace begins today, between us, through concrete, daily actions of solidarity to end the Israeli occupation of the Palestinian territories and to achieve full civil equality for all Israeli citizens.

PEACE NOW - the Israeli Peace Movement - was founded in 1978 by 348 reserve officers and soldiers of the Israel Defense Forces. The first and only mass peace movement in Israel, PEACE NOW rapidly became the single most important extra-parliamentary force for peace in the country, attracting hundreds of thousands to its mass rallies and activities.

Jewish Friends of Palestine

The Jewish Friends of Palestine Initiative is meant for individuals and organizations that identify themselves as being, in whole or in large part, "Jewish" - religiously, ethnically, culturally, et cetera. Among such Jewish organizations and individuals those that advocate the bare minimum requirements for a sustainable peace for Israel/Palestine - namely, an end to the Israeli occupation of the Territories conquered in 1967 (constituting 22% of Palestine - the "West Bank" and "Gaza Strip") and a willingness to share Jerusalem/Al Quds - are included. These two factors, Jewish and supportive of the necessary requirements for peace, constitute the sole criteria for inclusion, despite the various opinions, beliefs, and viewpoint points that have led to this conclusion.
