I'm a filmmaker and screenwriter, although I'm not getting paid to do either since I got my Master's degree in late 2005. I was born in Tehran, Iran, but I've lived in the south of France, the UK, South Africa and the United States (where I currently reside). Like many other displaced Iranians, my family left Iran for a number of reasons. Let's just say that it wasn't exactly safe for my family to remain in Iran; a number of my family members were killed after the 1979 Revolution. I have seen a lot in my lifetime but, like the rest of humanity, I have yet to experience and learn much more. The alarm clock has rung once too often in my dreams...I need to wake up!
